We’ve had a great experience here for our whole family. My kids both started visits at 2 or under and the staff has always been incredibly fun and gentle with them.
My only negative would be that every time we go we see a different hygienist. So far they have all been great, but if you like consistency of seeing the same person each time you may not get that here.

Love this office!!!!! Front desk receptionists are always a pleasure. Office is always well maintained and CLEAN. My hygienist, Vera is the sweetest - always so fun to talk to and always so knowledgeable! My teeth always feel so great after! First time seeing Dr. Libby today and he was A TREAT!!!! Have been going to this office for many years since Dr. Lopez owned it and Doris was his assistant. Friendly, courteous staff. Kris at the front desk is always so personable and remembers your name and family members too. Dr. Roy has been great for myself and family. He emergently saw a teammate of my daughter’s, after hours, for a knocked out tooth because he “just happened to be still at the office”. Great care. Great team. I highly recommend.

I found everyone to be very welcoming. Especially the Dental Hygienist I had. I felt very relaxed and communication was excellent. I also enjoyed the video's in the waiting room as well as the video being played just before my cleaning. It was a top notch visit.

I don't like going to the dentist I have a great fear of going. It's been 20 years since I have gone because I have such a fear so you can imagine what my teeth look like. I have so many broken teeth and fillings falling out. I gave into my fears and thought I would at least get myself through the front door. I was so impressed. The staff are just amazing! I felt so comfortable and they made sure I was! The young hygienist Maria made sure I was very comfortable when she was cleaning my teeth. Maria made sure I knew everything she was doing and kept asking if I was ok. She was just amazing. The dentist came in and told me what I should have done to restore my teeth. I am actually looking forward to go back it was such an amazing appointment and I never thought I would ever hear myself say that. They really care about your feelings and fears.

Unfortunate front desk staff with horrible customer follow through. Went for my initial visit back on December 2. The older front desk lady was quite sleepy and seemed overwhelmed and confused upon my arrival. Once I got in I had a wonderful experience with Amy Libby. She set me up with an Invisalign quote that was to be sent over to my insurance for pew authorization. By the end of the month I called the office and they said they sent it but there was a delay because of Covid. So of course I understand! Then mid January rolls around and I call upset because still no contact had been made and missed out on the holiday discount because of the delay. Finally I call my insurance they never even sent the pre authorization! Never received it at all but of course they managed to send the bill for services but somehow that didn’t get sent? So I call again today and explain that I want them to call my insurance directly because they are not doing something correctly. I receive a phone call back from a very rude front desk girl who says it’s your job to deal with your insurance! Yes mam but it’s also the businesses job to submit claims correctly and not string along patients. Unfortunately I’m never returning here after this experience. Ya it’s beautiful inside and Amy is fantastic but I don’t ever want to deal with their front end team ever again.

Saco River Dentistry deserves more than five stars! The dental hygienists are absolutely amazing and so comforting for someone who has a little dental phobia. Dr. Hicks is professional and top notch. The space is beautiful and clean. Thanks again for all you do and provide!

I had an appointment today with Dr. Richardson for bonding. I was nervous about the procedure. Both Dr. Richardson and her Assistant, Heather, took the time to answer my questions, explain the procedure and reassure me. Heather checked in frequently to see how I was holding up. The procedure was nearly pain free with the novacaine being the worst of it. Dr. Richardson was friendly and warm as she expertly bonded two of my teeth. I am very happy with the result! I can smile as big and wide as I like now without being self conscious! If you are looking for a compassionate, competent and personable dentist, Dr. Richardson is for you! Terrible experience! Never again. My son had emergency fill done on a chipped tooth. We had to wait 2 months just to get an appointment for the crown. He shows up to his appointment 20 minutes early, which just happens to be on his birthday. Only to be told there’s no appointment time, he had proof otherwise, not only did they turn him away but wouldn’t even reschedule to make right of their mistake. Even said they didn’t have a crown for him smh. I called to speak with a manager to discuss and how funny, there’s no one available! Great customer service! This place is a joke!
