Aspen Dental

I wanted to like this place, but I can honestly say this is one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had (and that has included bizarre ones in Spain and Mexico). The staff is nice and will smile at you...BUT they have a specific business model to rob you of as much money as they can. They are a gross parasitic company and not your family dentist. First, they will barrage you with unnecessary tests/treatments. I went for a free cleaning/inspection as covered by my insurance and they continually pressured me to have things not covered by my insurance. The worst aspect was some of the techniques they said were covered, were in fact not. So I ended up with an $130 bill. I have a very common dental insurance program (the details of which were provided before my appointment) and to misrepresent what my insurance covered is questionable if not criminal. At Aspen Dental, I was told I needed a crown for a cavity (a big payday for the company), yet I was later informed by another dentist that a filling would more than sufficient (and be covered by my insurance) and that once again, Aspen Dental likely lied to improve their monthly profits. I ask you Aspen, is this your business model? Rob as much as you can from clients? It will be hard to receive repeat business. Note to smart consumers, stay away from this wretched place!!!

It was my first visit and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I like how informative and helpful the lady who was helping with financing was.

HORRIBLE consideration for patients!
I scheduled my sons procedure through the Attleboro office. They were informative and friendly. I booked the appt in Dedham with Dr David Lee almost 3 weeks in advance and was told the provider required payment in full upon booking. The day of the appt I am not 5 minutes away from the facility and I receive a call from the Dedham staff canceling the appt providing no reason besides “the doctor has no experience and does not feel comfortable performing this”. The woman canceling my appt was incredibly rude and had no consideration for why I would be upset by this sudden VERY last minute cancellation. I went into the office for a refund and asked to speak with someone regarding the issue. I was hoping Dr David Lee would be able to shed some light as to why the appt was cancelled so abruptly. The staff couldn’t be bothered by my request and simply snapped at me saying “you need to bring that issue up with the Attleboro office”. I called the Attleboro office and spoke to the office manager, Tamara, who was very apologetic for the situation I was put in and also explained that Dr David Lee DID have experience performing the procedure and that they refer patients to him frequently. She also said that Dr Lee had access to his schedule in advance and if he had an issue with the procedure that he could have made me aware of it in advance vs 5 minutes before the scheduled appt time. I honesty don’t know what the truth of the matter was and clearly I won’t ever find out but the way this issue was handled was incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate and unacceptable. It goes without saying but I would NOT recommend Dr Lee or the Dedham Aspen dental.

I didn't feel that Aspen Dental was putting the safety of patients during the pandemic first. During my visit (for a simple check-up) I had four separate individuals put their fingers in my mouth, and was forced into close contact (within 6 feet) of at least three other employees. There were also at least five other patients visiting the small, poorly ventilated office building at the time I was there. I have heard from friends and family that their Dentists are taking many more precautions such as only scheduling appointments with ONE patient at a time, and limiting that patient's close contact to only one or two employees with full protective equipment. COVID-19 is airborne! There should not be so many people in such a small space at one time. If I had known how many people would be in the building and in close contact with me during my visit, I would have chosen a different dentist.

Dental Assistant, Zela, helped me out a lot at the Dedham Aspen Dental location. She was wonderful! It was like having your mom walk you through r process, extremely comforting and nurturing. Dr. Mahesh was also very friendly, and overall it was a great experience!

I went to Aspen dental and was in pain. Zela took my X-Rays and made me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr.Medeiros and rest of team was great and I definitely recommend this place !

First time visiting Dr. Medeiros was great and staff was very nice. Zella was doing x-rays and treated me like family. Best place to go!

Aspen Dental Dedham is truly a “judgement free zone.” The staff is wholly focused on providing the best dental care possible. They are relaxed, friendly, focused and always checking in to make sure that your needs are being met and that your questions and concerns are addressed. Dr. Mark Medeiros is a fabulous doctor. He is never rushed. When he is working with you, you have his full attention. He listens, wants to make sure that your questions are being answered and that your needs are met. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and that of his staff!

Outstanding care and staff! I called with a toothache and they got me in within an hour of the call. I appreciate the time the staff took with me and the dentist was able to resolve the toothache the same day. I was hesitant about returning to this office but it's a new staff and they are above and beyond awesome!
