Huisman Family Dentistry

I have been going to Dr. Jeff Huisman for the past 5 to 6 years and all of my experiences throughout that time have been extremely positive and pleasant... not something that is generally said about visits to a dentist! With that being said, I can only add that all of the staff, office, hygienists, and assistants are all top notch and strive to make each patient feel comfortable and at home. Dr Jeff is very knowledgeable, skillful and caring - The other wonderful thing is that all of the latest innovations in dental equipment are implemented by the office and Dr. Jeff stays on the cutting edge of technology in his field.

Dr. Huisman and his staff are up to date on technology with keeping my teeth healthy. They are friendly and punctual. My only wish is that they had a greater variety of times/days to make appointments.

I can’t think of one thing that could be improved! Dr. Jeff has done an amazing job in the professional, friendly people he has hired, having the most updated equipment, and having a pristinely clean and safe environment. Who would not look forward to an experience that includes looking out on a beautiful wintery scene in a warm, cheerful room with well chosen music playing confident you are getting the best care possible?

They have safety procedures in place so I felt very safe. They are very up to date with procedures.Dr Huisman and staff are very polite and explain their action plan to keep my teeth healthy and in my mouth. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Dentist.

My husband and I just moved to Holland and have recently started going to Huisman Family Dentistry. We’re so happy to have found a family run practice as opposed to the corporate offices going up everywhere. Dr. Huisman and his staff are great. They really take the time to get to know you and treat you like you’ve been a patient with them forever.

Your office is WONDERFUL...the people, the service, the atmosphere, everything.
I popped an old gold crown off of a tooth while eating nuts the other day...just as I was lying down in bed to hopefully take a nap because I had a migraine headache. When I realized that I had bitten down on something too hard to be a nut I realized it must be a crown. I took the crown out, rinsed it off well and then phoned your office. They offered me an appointment for later that same afternoon, which was great...except I had already put my p.j.'s on and needed the nap to try to get the migraine to back off a bit. Since I wasn't in pain, they accommodated me by offering an appointment for the next morning. Very attentive to my "emergency" for sure. Then when I arrived at the office, I realized that I had left the crown at home. A very quick trip home again made me only 5 minutes late to my appointment. One of the receptionists had told me not to hurry and to be careful on the road, as there was enough time for Dr. Jeff to get the job done even if I was a few minutes late. Again motivated by concern for my welfare. Dr. Jeff made sure that the tooth was not in any pain before proceeding with his work. He even took a few minutes and shined up the gold for me. Later in the day, I said to my husband that I really like Dr. Jeff and all of the people in the office! He agreed with me. We both appreciate the kindness and the skills of everyone in your office and working on our teeth. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Really appreciated the timely appointment, concern, and expertise. I felt like I received good advice, and all my concerns regarding a needed filling were heard and alleviated. Definitely recommend.

The procedures to keep everyone in the office safe during the Covid-19 crisis were very much appreciated as well.

Dr Huisman so helpful, w care & concern of my 89 yr old Mom w tooth infection/cavity guided us to correct treatment. Thank u!

Cracked a tooth pretty bad (lost like 85% of it) and even though it was due to my own lack of good hygiene over the years they still treated me with respect, didn't judge and even helped me with cost effective options knowing I'm a new mom with little income. Highly recommend. Dr Huisman is a VERY sweet man and I'm definitely gonna be coming to him in the future regularly for dental needs.
