Little Grins Dental

This was our first visit to a dentist period. I have a 4 and 2 1/2 year old. My 2 1/2 year old has sensory processing disorder and needs special attention. Of course my boys loved it from the minute they walked in. I think the play area gives the kids a chance to relax and get some of their jitters out. The dental team were amazing. My 4 year old even asked if we could "come back tomorrow" when we were finished. They were very patient with my 2 year old and his special needs. Laura was so amazing and friendly and definitely put me at ease so I know the boys loved her. I hope my boys can continue their dental care here for the rest of their childhood, they are truly the best!

I took my 2 year old to his first ever dentist appt and I was nervous as can be about it. We got there and he felt instantly at home playing in the waiting area. He didn't want to leave :) Once we went back he was scared and intimidated but thanks to a movie on the ceiling and some amazing people he did as best as can be for his first dental visit. Being a first time parent, you hope to make the right choices of not only what to do for your child but the right choice for who takes care of your child and I am so happy for chosing Little Grins Dental.

I've noticed reviews on here that have given Little Grins a lower rating and they all seem to have something to do with the customer's inability to pay for the services being provided. After a bit of research, I found that Dr. Craig has spent many years doing charity work and has helped fix teeth for those that couldn't afford to pay for the high quality work he is providing. I found the prices at his office to be very reasonable and even less expensive than the dentist where we lived before.

I just left with both my children and they did not want to leave the dentist's office! The staff provided the best care I could imagine from a dentist's office and they spoke to the kids in ways that got them both to cooperate without any trouble at all (I wish I could do that at home). When I had questions about the treatment plan for my child, Dr. Craig was able to put me at ease very quickly. I truly appreciate the kind, attentive staff and great experience. Thank you.

We recently switched over to Little Grins Dental for our 4 boys...and I am so glad we did!!! Dr. Craig is wonderful with the kids and was very patient with the little one that was not too excited. I really appreciate the conservative way that he handles any issues and that he included us through the whole visit. Don't even get me started on how amazing Laura is! The kids look forward to going to their appointments (I'm sure the huge indoor jungle gym has nothing to do with it) and they leave with smiles on their faces. I would recommend Little Grins to any parent and I am certain they will not be disappointed.

Dr. Craig and his staff are all fantastic! My 4 year old had the time of his life. He did great for his first visit, and the staff really recognized him for his good behavior. My 2 year old did NOT want to be there, but Dr. Craig and his staff we so patient with her. They went slowly, and did everything they could to make her feel comfortable. I couldn't have been more pleased. I will be going back for their checkups every 6 months. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend Little Grins for all children!!!

These folks are great! We have three kids (7,4,2) and they are always kind and gentle and really know how to work with little ones. My kids LOVE the dentist day! Play place, movies and treasure box are always a hit! Highly recommend!!!

What isn't to love about Little Grins Dental? Dr. Rechkemmer is wonderful with children, and as a parent, I appreciated his walk-through of what he saw in my daughter's exam and his proposed plan of treatment. Laura is equally great with kids and makes sure they are comfortable and having a good experience. Davina was a joy to work with, and made sure we understood our insurance benefits and had everything we needed in line prior to the first appointment. The atmosphere is so amazing, I want to go there, too!

Another fantastic trip to see Dr. Craig! What a testament to your atmosphere and staff when my kids race through the fairy door to get to the exam chair and then complain when we have to leave. Not only is the atmosphere fantastic for kids but my children came home insisting they use their tooth timers to brush their teeth because "Dr. Craig said so" and they both went to school telling their friends they got to see pictures of their new teeth up above their old ones (love the immediate x-ray films!). We would not go anywhere else!

Took my 3 year old daughter today for her first dental visit. I could not be more happy with this place. First I got the date wrong and came a week early. But they worked her in, we drive an hour and a half. I really appreciated that. The play area is amazing, daughter loved it. Laura, was so great. I didn't know how my kid would be, I thought she might be scared. She wasn't at all. We really had a great time. Even the doctor was quick and it was painless! Perfect teeth makes for a really happy Momma! See you in 6 months!

This was our first time visiting a dental practice geared totally toward kids and my 5 year old daughter LOVED it! From the moment we walked in, she couldn't wait to see which themed room she would be in and which 3D movie she would watch--all after playing in the great play gym in the lobby, of course! Miss Laura did an AWESOME job interacting with and explaining procedures/equipment to my daughter. Dr. Craig was professional, easy to talk to, and very thorough in his assessment. He took time to explain, in depth, my daughters x-rays and addressed my concerns in a calm, personable way. I highly recommend Dr. Craig and Little Grins Dental to families in and around Springfield. I have no doubt that anyone who visits will be as satisfied as I am!
