Today I tried the new laser cavity machine and it was 1000X better than anything before. I have had countless bad experiences at different dentists as long as I can remember, but ever since I've been going to Bitterroot Dental I have not had one bad experience! I highly recommend this dentist!

Very disappointed in the billing office. I went in for a cleaning and they said that I needed a scaling and that insurance would pay 80%. An hour and 15 minutes later they give me a bill for $340.00- that was my portion after insurance they said. The total bill was over $790 for the cleaning and now an hour later they say insurance will only cover 50%. My wife calls and the lady more or less calls me a liar- I am no liar!
Secondly, THEY CHARGED OVER $790 FOR A SCALING/CLEANING. It lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. I liked the dentist, but he has a rude staff who has no idea what they are doing. BEWARE!!!!!!!

Have always dreaded going to the dentist and getting "the lecture". After seeing Dr. Duke he not only didn't give me the lecture, he explained the problems I have, and reassured me that it was not because I hadn't taken care of my teeth. Now I work with them to keep things in order. Great crew, can't say enough good things about them.

I sent my brother and his kids to Dr. Duke and wanted to share what happened to him. First his son went to have a crown put on and then had to move back to another city before it could be put on. The dentist in the new city tried to put on the crown and could not- saying it was not the right size so he had to pay for 2 crown. He was also charged from Duke for putting the new crown on- which never happened. Then looking through his bill he realized not only was he charged the full amount for the crown that was not put in or used, but insurance was not billed on a cleaning for his other son and they were trying to get money for another cleaning had not been billed to insurance. It was $200 in cleaning and the whole crown thing. My brother is a finance major and their billing process makes no sense. The receptionist has no idea what she is doing and is very rude.

Dr. Duke and his staff are amazing they got me in on short notice when no one else would see me even with an abscessed tooth. He took care of the problem which turned out to be worse then I thought but I'm thankful he helped me and made me have a beautiful smile again. Thank you so much. By far the best in missoula and the bitterroot valley.
