The hygienist Sheryl Clark is the best. I just love her she takes her time and does a very good job. I love the Gentle Dental in Moore.

I went in to this location because of a tooth ache. They sold me one of their "Smile Plans" and determined that I needed an extraction and bone graft so they could do an implant, they quoted me a price in writing of about $3,200. During the extraction the anesthetic wore off and the dentist slipped several times scraping my gums and once pinching my lip. I paid about $600.00 that day for the extraction and bone graft. Afterward they tried to set me up as quickly as they could for a lot of procedures I couldn't afford. After a couple of months I was sent to a specialist for a CT scan to make sure the bone graft took. Gentle Dental told the specialist not to mail the CT results because they would send someone to get them. After 5 weeks they finally made the long 10 minute drive to do so. During that time I was lied to by the 4 different people at Gentle Dental (during the 6 calls I made to them) who said that they already had the results in my file and they were waiting on the surgeon to review them, but I couldn't ever get anyone to call me back. Finally I called another location to transfer and THEN the Moore office finally called me back. The woman on the phone said she needed to call my insurer to get a price estimate and would call me right back. The call never came but 3 days later I got an email about an appointment that I didn't agree to. I cancelled via email and they still called the next day with instructions for the visit. When I said I had cancelled, she offered an appointment a few days later at 1:00pm and told me that even though she hadn't spoken to my insurer yet, the price for the remainder of the procedure had gone up to $5,000 because the had to have an oral surgeon do it instead of the dentist like they originally planned. The reason for this is still a mystery because everyone I talked to gave me a different story. On the morning of the next appointment they called asking why I had missed my 8:30am appointment and I had to tell them it was supposed to be at 1:00pm. At that point I had had enough and found a new company to deal with. When I went to pick up my records they argued with me about sending my x-rays to my new dentist but eventually agreed to do so. However, when I got to my new dentist I found out that they had lied to me once again and only sent one set of x-rays instead of all of them like I asked repeatedly. This place is a nightmare. They lied to me for months, with several different stories and excuses to jack up the price once I was halfway through the process. No one there even pretended to care about all the trouble they caused. I have tried to call their corporate customer service number and can't get anyone to answer. All I get is a voicemail in California. Believe it or not, no one from there ever called me back either.

I am terrified of going to the dentist (as many people are) and up until this point, had only seen 1 dentist who is in Florida. I recently had 6 teeth removed: All 4 of my wisdom teeth and 2 of my molars. Dr. Bowers was absolutely AMAZING!!! Not only did Dr. Bowers live up to the name "Gentle Dental", but the ENTIRE STAFF at the Moore location did as well! From the Receptionists to the Hygienists, everyone was very kind and genuine. After experiencing severe pain for several days following my procedure (which we later found out was a dry-socket), I called the office and within an hour Dr. Bowers had texted me to verify what I had told the nurse. It seems like such a small gesture, but it really meant a lot to me as one of their patients. I would recommend Dr. Bowers and this office to ANYONE!!! Thank you all for your sincerity, it definitely did not go unappreciated!

Dr. Bowers and Dr. Brown, they both are the best I have found. That is just the beginning. Each person I have contacted there, are fun, happy, and pleasant. How nice to go to a place of business where the people appear to be happy to be there. Everyone has a job and they take you thru each step with no stress.
My insurance, is one that is hard to deal with, they take care of it, and do everything they can to get me the work I need.
I have more work to be done and actually look forward to going back. Hard to believe, but true.

Gentle Dental lives up to their name. Just had my first root canal & it was as pleasant an experience as possible, I reckon. Their scheduling is a bit rough. I had three separate call to reschedule. Otherwise no problems. I'll be going back.

Today, February 13, was my first visit. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, the whole office was very nice and explained things fully. I have several visits to go, and if they all are like this then I couldn't ask for better. Thank you Gentle Dental

I am not a fan of dentistry nor dentists, however my experience with Dr. Thomas and her staff at Gentle Dental was by far the best I have had in my 3l41 years on this earth. The best part 8s they clearly explained the procedure and options including cost. To tip all of that off, thanks to Dr. Thomas's skill I have had a phenomenal recovery with very little use of pain meds which allowed me to get back to work the next day. Thank you!

Sheryl is a great hygienist. She is for sure the backbone of that office. Would highly recommend going here if you need dental work or just an annual cleaning or whatever.

I would like to share with you my experience with Gentle Dental. I called Gentle Dental to make an appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed they asked for a referral from my dentist, at Life Time dental. I went to Lifetime dental and watched the secretary transfer my information to Gentle Dental. I called the next day and they said they never received it. I called again and had them send my request to Dr. Thomas herself. The secretary at Gentle Dentle said her assistant was not in and to leave my information and she would get back to me the following day. I did not receive a call. I called again and Gentle Dentle told me Dr. Blair Thomas does not have an assistant and to send the referral to collmanp. Miss Coleman is the manager of the facility. Lifetime dental sent the referral a third time. As you can guess they did not receive it. My sweet Mother in Law decided to call for me because I have been in so much pain. She had Lifetime Dental send a fax to Gentle Dental. The secretary said they did not receive it and made the excuse that they do not have good working machines. The secretary proceeded to tell me the soonest I could get in was the end of March for an appointment, because Dr. Thomas only works once a month. I am assuming all of this is taking place because of my insurance plan. I have Atna DMO and no one in Oklahoma takes Aetna DMO except Dr. Thomas. My experience with Gentle Dental is they avoid Aetna DMO like the plague so they do not have to deal with there policies. I am very disappointed with the way Gentle Dentle handles situations. I will not refer Gentle Dentle, even if you have full coverage like Aetna DMO wisdom removal, because they will not accept it! My advice would be to pay out of pocket, if your insurance doesn't cover, to Wisdom Tooth Center. They are helpful careing people who get you an appointmentright away, and who tell the truth about your situation.

This place is awesome! Everyone was very professional and welcoming, from the time I came in the door until my procedure was complete. They are very caring and compassionate each and every member of the staff. Thank you for putting me to ease during my visit.
