But the last two years under Dr. Kooning’s care has facilitated a profound shift in trust. He has easily fixed what other dentists haven’t. was very nice and helpful..
However Dr Kooning is a new dentist for us. My husband had been to the regular Hygienist and liked her very much. I was looking forward to having her clean my teeth but was never warned that I would not have her.
We have had ours for 20 some years and she is wonderful but it became
too costly. The one I ended up with has only been practicing for 2 years and was nothing like what I was used to and not sure he did that well with lack of experience. I would have cancelled and rebooked but was not given opportunity for that. Sorry to have say this but I am not sure what

Friendly and professional team. I have been going to this office for five or six years and have had the best care. I have never felt like I was encouraged to have procedures I did not need (i.e. cosmetic). And those services I have needed, fillings fixed mostly, have been reasonable and painless!
I also had to have a couple of big things done, a root canal, and gum surgery. I was referred to the best in the field, had remarkable results, and excellent follow up with the Kooning office.

Dr Kooning and his staff are first rate. I strongly recommend them.
1) They don’t recommend services that you don’t need. An example is xrays. Many dental offices will treat the plan and not the patient (ie give you 2 sets of xrays per year if your plan pays for 2 sets per year). Dr Kooning and his staff provide conservative, appropriate care recommendations.
2) They are thorough. Yesterday the hygienist detected a suspicious area under a crown. She brought it to the dentist and compared it to past xrays. I needed a crown replacement.
3). They have excellent chairside manner. My wife and kids all love the staff for their friendliness. I like them because they make me feel confident. When I got my crown prep yesterday, Dr Kooning and the hygienist (tana) did a fantastic job of helping me manage my nerves. The procedure went very smoothly as a result.

Dr. Kooning and his staff helped me so much after 8 days of excruciating tooth pain. They were extremely professional and compassionate. I also loved how they gave me an exact price quote, with my insurance coverage, right on the spot with no guessing or waiting (price was a big concern for me and they were very reasonable). Kooning Family Dentistry is the best dentist I have been to, and I am reccommending my family and friends. Beautfiul office, also :-)

I visited Dr Kooning today for a consultation to go over my options to correct a gap. From the moment I checked in, I was treated with excellent service. He was very professional in going over each option thoroughly and answering all of my questions and concerns. Because of that, I felt very comfortable and confident to go ahead with treatment today.
