The Dental Studio - Lake Oswego Dentist

It's always a positive experience going to the dentist -- no complaints! The staff is always patient, understanding, and gentle. I highly recommend The Dental Studio.

Dr. Jeffrey Clawson at The Dental Studio in Lake Oswego on 4th and B Avenues is a very personable dentist; and, I recommend him highly. His staff are excellent also. I’ve been going to him about two years now. He has done crown work on my teeth and has always been totally concerned with how I’m feeling during the preparation procedure.

Dr. Clawson is a family man and it’s always a pleasure to talk with him and have him take care of my super sensitive teeth.

Can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Clawson, his services, and staff.

I have always had a great experience at the Dental Studio. From calling in the phone, walking in the door you are treated professionally with a very friendly smile. The whole staff is dedicated to your comfort and total satisfaction with whatever procedure you schedule. I happened to have a bit of an emergency over a weekend, they worked me in and took care of the issue. I am a patient for as long as I am here!!!

Dr Clawson was wonderful. He got me in same day when I lost a filling. I am afraid of dentists but he put me at ease with is friendly demeanor and empathetic personality. He helped me make a plan for the needed root canal and catered to my anxiety for the upcoming appt.

Had my root canal appt and it went very smoothly. The techniques that Dr Clawson used made the appt as mellow as possible. He was quick at his work and continues to reassure me as time went on that morning. He reminded me that he did not want me in any pain and to call if there were any issues. Once again his wonderful personality put me at ease. One more trip back to get my permanent crown.

I'm happy that I picked the Dental Studio when looking for a new dentist. Dr. Clawson is super positive and friendly and he makes you feel very comfortable. Everyone else in the office is friendly as well and the office is quite attractive.

I honestly look forward to going to the dentist! The entire staff and doc is amazing and it’s the best care I’ve ever received. My teeth have never been better!

I had a couple of bad experiences here.

1. I had a couple of fillings done, when the numbing had past I noticed there was pain which he warned me that I may experience (ok no big deal) then I started to notice that my bite was off, the fillings were to high, he never checked my bite!!! So every time I took a bite the pain would increase. When I went to floss my teeth the floss would not go through, he also never took a floss to the tooth to check if it was good. They have a three day weekend and couldn't see me until then. I had to deal with this pain for three days! I came in to get it fixed, he did not seem happy to fix it and in a hurry to go to his other client, I felt rushed.

2. I receive a letter stating I owe them a balance for a x-ray. Stating the insurance did not cover the full balance. At the time of my appointment I was told my insurance covers the cleaning and x-rays. Taking a closer look at the invoice I see there is some instruction fee the insurance does not cover (I did not receive instructions) I came in for a cleaning what kind of instructions do you need?? Their billing department has told me two different stories for this balance. I do not trust anything they say.

Be aware!! They are not honest about their prices and have hidden fees they will charge you after your appointment. The quality work in my experience was poor, the doctor does not take the time to check his own work.

It took me a long time to feel comfortable finding a new dentist after move to Oregon. After having a horrible experience at a different dentist, I went with a friend's recommendation and visited Dr. Zehtab. They were wonderful! They have updated equipment and techniques and actually paid attention to my problem areas and concerns. Dr. Zehtab walked me through what he found and the options to fix it. I went back in a couple of months later and had some fillings done. It was quick and painless (which was pretty much a first for me) and I have already passed the word around that their staff and work is excellent.

Dr. Zehtab has been treating my whole family for several years now, and let me just say We love him!! He puts our health needs first before anything else. I have had many cavities fixed with his water laser and it is very painless without any shots or sedatives. My father has had a crown done in-office with Dr. Zehtab's same-day CEREC machine. His team is very friendly; they listen to your concerns and offer office insurance plans if you don't have your own. I have been getting my teeth cleaned and fixed by Zehtab Family Dentistry for a while now and I don't plan on leaving them anytime soon. Thank you!

If you need a positive dental experience, the Dental Studio is where it will occur.. The entire staff is above and beyond positive and welcoming.

Dr. Jeff Clawson has expertise in many areas. Specifically in dry mouth symptoms and Sjogren Disease to name a few. Dr, Jeff, is approachable and sincere with his energetic approach. Thank you for a great appointment and I can’t believe I am saying this, I am looking forward to seeing you all in 6 months🤗
