I love doctor Banks. He’s always very nice when he does the examination after the cleaning and doesn’t look for unnecessary work.
The office is always clean and the staff very helpful.

Excellent experience, staff is very kind and friendly. Unfortunately I had a small cavity, but I didn't have to come back to be treated after my cleaning. They were able to squeeze me in immediately and used the new laser to fix my cavity and then gave me a filling. The laser was AMAZING, completely painless with out any shots to numb or topical or gas. Very fast, the whole thing was done in less than 15 mins. Highly recommend to anyone needing dental work. Dr. Banks was great and patiently answered all my questions. This is the only place in Amarillo currently who offer this laser service, go see them! Also this was approved by my insurance so I had minimal out of pocket costs! I will be taking my daughter to him soon as well.

I've been a patient of Dr Banks for many years and have always been satisfied with the service they provide. It's such a comfortable atmosphere, it's not scary, even though it's a dentist office! It's like visiting family and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I found Dr Banks many years ago after another dentist messed up my teeth badly! Anywho for many years my kids, husband and I have gone to Dr. Banks and his staff and him self have always been kind, curtious, respectful and literally always do the best they can to accommodate us. Recently I found out I needed a root canal and due to many issues I've had to wait to get it done and in the mean time Dr. Banks and his staff has done everything he can to keep me comfortable and even gave me financial options to fit our needs. He is a bit on the expensive side on certain things but nothing unreasonable, trully worth it. Thank you Dr Bank for working with me :) this infection was miserable!!!

COVID update: I just went to get my semi-annual teeth cleaning done. I had postponed it, but cases are getting lower, so I gave it a try. I was pleased they could get me in quickly. Other than our city’s mask requirements, they took my temp at the door. They had the plexiglass dividers in place & all Personnel wore masks. Dr Banks has always had a clean environment, but I witnessed additional cleaning; so I felt very assured, that I was still in good hands. I love all of these girls & Dr Banks was his normal warm, caring self. I would not go anywhere else!!! ❤️ 2021 early. 2021 late below, now with a newly remodeled office, they are even better! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Never liked going to dentist, however, since I MUST I seriously wouldn't trust anyone but J.Steven Banks and his staff. I always leave feeling better than when I came. Thank you guys for your professionalism and genuineness every time.
