I had a horrible experience with an ice cream product that had Cacao Nibs in it. They were so HARD, that they cracked my wisdom teeth and bottom left molar. Initially, I felt no pain, gathered the broken molar and contacted the food prep company. A few days later, during a winter storm here in Texas (Dallas), I found myself in EXCRUCIATING PAIN with little to no help. I called my Doctor, got a pain med. I called dentist, after dentist, after dentist. None had water and some had busted pipes because of the storm. My faith is strong, so I just prayed. Let me tell you that through much prayer, and many left voicemails, God answered, and sent me to Dr. Sergie. Dr. Sergie’s team (Hi Paulie & Alyssa!) sent me a text and then called me to say they could see me THAT DAY! It was a Sunday. They had just gotten water and let me tell you I went there fast! Dr. Sergie is a natural and is very empathetic, demonstrates VERY strong competence in what he does as a seasoned Dentist, but his compassion towards me is what made me feel comfortable and at peace about being in his care. He’s thorough, a great listener, and is very straightforward. I hadn’t been anywhere (except to vote) since March 11th, 2020. So, this level of comfort, care, concern, CLEANLINESS in the midst of this pandemic was seen, felt, and experienced. Dr. Sergie got me scheduled the NEXT DAY for oral surgery with Dr. Bryan Moore, an exceptionally skilled Dentist to handle my procedure. Dr. Moore exuded a level of confidence that made me feel just as great as Dr. Sergie! From the location, to the atmosphere, to the CLEANLINESS of this beautiful and modern Uptown practice and the kindness, gentleness, and thoroughness of EVERYONE (Dallas and Dorian {hope I remembered your name correctly} are giant assistants with hearts of gold). I can’t wait for my post-op follow-up and my consistent ongoing care under Dr. Sergie and his OUTSTANDING TEAM of FRIENDLY PROFESSIONALS! Did I mention I had 4 wisdom teeth removed on Monday? Yep! That’s what I got done. Now, I’m happily recovering and healing. I’m excited about being a part of the In Focus Dentistry family. Each of you are so AWESOME! I’m blessed by your care for me.
