In Focus Dentistry

Dr. Sergie and the Infocus team are great. As knowledge and professional as there is in the dental industry. I enjoy my visits to infocus, not only because I know I’m going to come away with a great smile and more informed on the health of my teeth, but I’ll get all my questions answered. I highly recommend infocus to anyone looking for a primary dental provider.

I am very satisfied with the service received during my visit to In Focus Dentistry. Procedure included taking X-Rays and a thorough tooth cleaning. The service was conducted on time and it followed all the necessary safety protocols. Great service!

I've been a patient of Dr. Sergie for over a decade now and I wouldn't choose to go elsewhere. Despite two separate moves I have kept going back to Dr. Sergie for dental care because of the utmost care applied to my dental needs and that they treat their patients like family.

I hope everyone reads this post. If I could give less than 1 star I would for Dr. Sergie and In Focus Dentistry.

In January of 2016 I went to In Focus dentistry for what was a teeth cleaning and a look at a tooth I had a hole in to understand what my options were for fixing the tooth. I had never been to InFocus but it was around the corner from where I lived so I decided on the convenient option.

After review of my tooth, Dr. Sergie recommended that I would probably need a root canal and although they do not perform this procedure, he sent me to a reputable orthodontic surgeon in Highland Park. The surgeon agreed that I needed to have a root canal and he ended up performing the operation flawlessly. This is where the trouble came in...

He sent me back to In Focus after the procedure to get the temporary filling replace with a long-term cap for securing the tooth.
However, instead of replacing the temporary filling (like I asked, and the surgeon requested) Dr. Sergie performed another tooth cleaning and came up with an estimate of 4 other items he would like to fix in my teeth (nothing to do with the cap) that was going to cost around 4,000 dollars in total. On top of that he sold me 400$ worth of teeth cleaning equipment that didn't work, and I never used again. Being very confused by this I scheduled yet another appointment to get the filling replaced and a permanent cap put on and again no action was taken on my tooth and again I was sent away without any permanent cap.

As what happens when you have a temporary filling, it began to weaken to the point that there was another hole in my tooth. Because In Focus was clearly trying to milk as many appointments out of me as possible I went back to the oral surgeon who performed the root canal for his opinion. To no surprise, he was shocked and furious that Dr. Sergie had not yet put a permanent cap on my tooth and told me that if I had waited any longer, I would have likely had to have another root canal or I would have lost the tooth all together. Because he was so upset that Dr. Sergie blatantly ignored my need for a permanent cap he referred me to another dentist to have my cap put on. The new dentist put the cap in place and corrected the problem immediately.

Overall, it was one of the least professional experiences I have had to deal with. Dr. Sergie and his staff were cordial during all my visits except it became very clear early on that they were going to get as much money out of my insurance company and myself before actually doing any necessary work.

I never knew it was possible to love a dental office, but In Focus is amazing!! I happened upon them by pure coincidence, when my crown fell out soon after I moved to Dallas. It's not easy to find a dental office that is accepting new patients, let alone one that can accommodate emergency procedures next-day, but Dr. Sergie was all over it! The office is modern and plays excellent music (not your typical soul-crushing medical office schlock), the staff is super-friendly (they introduced me to my new favorite La Croix flavor: passionfruit for the win!!), and the dental care was beyond excellent. All of this, in a location right off of McKinney that's walkable from anywhere in Uptown. Do yourself a favor and go see the peeps at in Focus! Your mouth will thank you!

Doc is professional, friendly, extremely competent, and has a staff that emulates these same qualities.

I had a great experience with Dr. Sergie. He was both knowledgeable and professional. I got a great cleaning and check up in a safe environment.

They don’t even deserve one star. They deserve zero stars, negative stars. This place is a SCAM. Don’t walk, RUN away from these people. I had an appointment scheduled 3+ years ago that I had to reschedule because I had a meeting at work and they wanted to charge me over $200 for a rescheduling fee which I refused to pay. They sent it to collections and increased it to $1.300!!!! I have debt collectors calling me to pay $1,300 for a made-up fee. They are crooks and I am SURE that I am not the only one they have done this to.

was very professional, friendly,helpful .
I will definitely be going back.
