I've been seeing Dr. Doan for 4 years now and he is truly amazing! He has great bedside manners and is very skilled & knowledgeable. He took out my wisdom teeth and I didn't feel any pain during the anesthesia and throughout the entire procedure. The extraction sites healed quickly and I experienced no postoperative pain or complications. He listens to your concerns and makes sure that you are at ease on the dental chair. The office is very nice and the staff are warm and friendly. Pain free dentistry, thank you Dr. Doan! You are the best!

Although there are many good things about Rio for the kids, 3 stars is what it deserves from a parent’s perspective. Although grateful that they take all insurance including Medicare, the paperwork needed each time is ridiculous.
I show up on time with more or more kids for an appointment and then have 8 pages of redundant paperwork to complete per child before being called back.
The kids “theatre” is good and usually has an appropriate movie, but the video games have been broken for a while.
The staff will be friendly if you put the effort in first to make small talk - and the Doctors are kind but a condescending about how to care for your kids teeth at home as if flossing for a 4 year old is a life and death issue.
It’s a mostly good experience, be prepared to spend twice as long as you think you will here and write an essay of personal information.

I absolutely love this place. If i could give them a 10 I would. I came with 6 kids and the only work I had to do was new patient forms, I sat down and they literally came to me for anything they needed me to do or to tell me about treatmeant. For the first time ever I was not exhausted runing back and forth to each room, and until all my kids were all treated I got to sit and relax. By far the best experience ever. I finally found a dental office I want to bring my kids back to. Even my kids had good things to say about there visit, they even asked me if we were coming back. So not only am I going home not tired im smiling. The staff here are the sweetest and they really show they care. My younger kids bothered them the whole time and not one time did they get frustrated or ignore them. Very nurturing and respectful. I was very comfortable and happy here. Thank you Rio Dental in Irving. Love every single ones vibe and attitude.

I took my daughter here in November for check up. The doctor did the x rays but did not do the cleaning because my daughter did not want to open her mouth . In April took my daughter to a different dentist and they confirmed that CHIP was charged for cleaning on November, even the task was not performed so my daughter could not have the cleaning on April because CHIP takes care of it every six months. I called Rio Dental and they refused to fix the situation. I am filing a complaint for fraud with Medicaid and with BBB.

By far the best dental office! They have not only worked on myself but also my husband and son and we've all been happy with the work. I also made the decision to get my braces done with Rio Dental. Completely amazing! They are always so kind and family oriented! It's very rare to find a place to see all 5-7 of us at a time back to back! They always make it work! Best dentist office I've ever been to!
