I’ve been a patient of this practice for about 2 years and never had any issue, aside from them needing to reschedule appts with me for one reason or another. Dr. Johnson was my dds and was very pleasant to work with. A few days ago, I received a phone call from them to reschedule my upcoming appt (that I had already made arrangements for.) They gave me no option, just that the dentist was leaving the practice and the only opening was a certain date/time - take it or leave it. I have 3 small toddlers at home and a teenager in SWAT so morning coordination is a real thing for me if I’m not going to be home. I was, however, flexible, my tooth is hurting and said I would rearrange things on my end and be there since it was my only option. I arrived 11 minutes late to the appt. I was sat down and told that the dentist wouldn’t be able to do the extensive dental work we had planned (2 hour appt) by a very rude assistant Bc I was 11 minutes late. She persisted that I get other, unnecessary work done, to which I said no. My upper tooth was in pain and I needed to have that one looked at. She said she could schedule me for 1.5 months out to get the tooth looked at...for a tooth in pain. Long story short, I got up and said I guess I would have to find somewhere else bc my tooth was hurting. The dental assistant ripped the paper napkin thing off of me as i stood up and stormed off. I spoke to Val at the front who’s always been nice but she was unable to help and tried to brush the tooth pain I was having off as “oh it’s just gum pain and pressure. No big deal.” All over me being 11 minutes late to an appt THEY rescheduled that I was flexible with and they couldn’t show me the same courtesy. I never even saw a dds. This place used to be great. They’ve gone way downhill in my opinion. Clearly their staff, at least some of them need better people skills and the office as a whole needs to go back to their roots...customer service. Too many choices in LC to deal with one practice who is lacking in patient care and service.

My first visit...Dr Klye and Lisa were very personable and made me feel comfortable. My visit was a consultation so no procedure. However, instead of going with the more expensive root canal option, he provided me with free samples. I love that they did not try to upsell other services or go with highest option. We are definitely off to a great start!
