I just moved to Tomball from Houston and was nervous about finding another dentist I could trust for my daughter. I called my insurance and they referred me to dr. Jennifer Mai at Restoration Smiles. I made an appointment Friday and got an appointment on Monday in the morning. So Monday morning came and my daughter was ready but me being a mom had a happy face on for my daughter that way she wouldn’t be nervous- although I was nervous and unsure of what kind of dentist we made an appointment for. I walked In and I was greeted with a smile from a very nice lady at the front desk. She walked me though getting checked in. The office is very updated I signed in using an iPad. They had all my information correct from when I initially made the appointment over the phone. They had a nice area for the kids to play with a projector game on the floor. They also had a nice little beverage area with coffee, soda, and water- they even had animal crackers for the kiddos! The waiting area had a very comfortable sofa complete with new magazines and a tv with cartoons on. Next thing I knew a nice dental assistant -her name was Martha came out and called my daughters name and said they were ready for her. We went back into the room and the she was so nice to my daughter and was very patient. They had TVs on the ceiling and on the wall- so if you were laying down or sitting up you could watch tv. My daughter was really exciting when she was able to watch Moana! They had Netflix and over ther things for your entertainment. Dr. Mai went over all the findings and told us what needed to be done and the reason for it. They checked with our insurance and everything was covered. They were able to do her fillings and cleaning the same day. We had a great experience. It was like we were home because everyone was just so nice and welcoming. My husband and I will definitely be coming back for our check ups. Thank you Dr. Mai and Martha for our pleasant experience!

Got a cavity filled, it got infected, had to have the tooth removed. Instead of absorbing the cost for their mistake, I was required to pay the balance “because it’s 2 separate operations”. Even though I wouldn’t be there if it was done right the first time. Don’t recommend.
