Smiles Dental Sedro-Woolley

I have been a patient for 10 years. They just take care of me. No issues ever! When I need something special they step and and tell me what I need and what it costs, no drama! Excellent care and very gentle. Many times I do not even know they are in my mouth. I totally recommend them and their amazing staff. They are the best!

The staff and Dr. are always helpful and friendly. Ann cleaned my teeth the last I was there and did a awesome job. I love that they play country music at that this office because most the time offices just play the same old elevator music. If you want a friendly and helpful dental experience this is the place to go.

Recently had a crown replaced by Dr. Taylor Wilkinson and staff that is so much better than the original—very pleased. Also, I’ve been seen by a couple really good hygienists there, but my hygienist today, Jackie (sp?) is by far my favorite. Thank you!

Update 1/26/22: So upset. I went in for my cleaning only to find that Dr. Taylor had left and no one thought they should tell his patients. They send both auto-texts and in-person calls confirming our appointments. It really wouldn't have been that hard for the office to have notified me, my son, or my husband! As mentioned in my original review, I have a lot of dental anxiety and suddenly having a new doc pop in with absolutely no warning was really upsetting. I'm embarassed to say that I cried in my car and I'm still feeling pretty overwhelmed. The new doc was professional, but seemed to be only that. She quickly introduced herself, did the exam, told me I needed fillings, asked if I had any questions, and left. I was so stunned to not see MY dentist that it took me the rest of the visit to finally ask what happened to Dr. Taylor. Apparently he moved, which happens, but why didn't the office tell us??? I'm sure I'm not the only one who was blindsided. I honestly don't know if I'll go back or if I will try to find a new place. I'm panicking about getting my fillings now. I had been really proud of myself for getting on track with regular cleanings and treatments without fear because I felt comfortable with Dr. Taylor and had built a solid dr/patient relationship over all these years, but now.......this was just so careless of Smiles Dental.

Earlier Review: Due to anxiety and a few bad experiences with another Dr, I had neglected going to the dentist for years and put off finding a new one. Right before Christmas I broke a molar and Dr. Taylor Wilkinson's office was able to get me in when no other office around could. They calmed my fears, were completely non-judgmental about how long it had been, and took care of me; even giving me a back-up temp crown just in case since they would be closed for Christmas. I've been treated several times now over the last 2 months to get back on track with cleanings, crowns and fillings. They have been so caring, gental, and considerate that I've had my last two treatments without nitrous. A big deal considering all the anxiety I had before! I highly recommend Dr. Taylor Wilkinson and Kai-Leia.

I drive from Ferndale to Sedro-Woolley for my dental care. The team at Smiles dental are awesome. Ann is the absolute best dental hygienist! I used to get anxiety just thinking about dental appointments until I found this place. Ann cares about her patients health and it shows. I have been going for many years and have never had a bad experience.

Being 48 year old Parkinson’s patient, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
Usually I shake uncontrollably while having dental work done. This was not the case. Dr and staff went out of their was to make sure I was comfortable in the chair and during the procedure. As a result I felt relaxed, no pain with hardly any shaking.

I would highly recommend this Dentist.

This place is a SCAM!! I went there to get 2 wisdom teeth looked at and they never even looked in my mouth. The doctor just told me tnat they would do the surgery and that they were better than other doctors because he uses gauze, which is very unprofessional to speak down on others in your profession. Then they estimated $700 ontop of $1100 insurance would pay. Ridiculous! What a joke.

I have been a patient for many years, the only reason I continued to come back to Atkinson Family Dental was the wonderful Doctor's and Staff. This dental office was a family and you always felt welcome. I will not be returning to this office now that it has become a corporate nightmare, the way that the billing is done and the feel you get when you call the office is horrible, you are made to feel as though you are just a number.. The new management team is a disappointment to deal with. I have so much respect for the wonderful Doctors and Dental Staff ( NOT THE MANAGEMENT) too bad they took away that home town feel..

******** I have tried to contact Jessica many time and was told that she is constantly unavailable, or in a meeting or out of the office. At this point I have no want to communicate with her as you have stated. This was NEVER the case with previous staff regarding the billing. I spoke with my insurance company and they also stated that the new billing staff has failed to provide requested information and delayed the remaining payment for my crown...do to the lack of response.. The seat date for my crown was placed in APRIL. I would like to re-reimbursed for what over paid back in APRIL..

Smiles dental was ready for me at the appointed time. I was taken in and great care was taken to assure my comfort (as much as is possible in a dental office) and convenience. They went to work promptly and got me out at approx. the time I expected.
