Had the most amazing experience, I had expressed my fears an anxiety about having a previous traumatic dental experience everyone was genuinely concerned with making me feel relaxed an make sure I was okay every step of the way! I had prolonged this bad tooth pain for over a year I searched for a few dentist had made multiple consolations an they didnt make me feel comfortable enough for me to trust them to do my dental work until I came for a consolation at Dr Atkinson office an his staff was by far the most sincere an outstanding customer service I have ever had they connect with you on a personal basis and understand how people can feel about having any type of dental work but reassured me I was in great hands that by the time I left I decided to make an appointment for the following day to have my tooth extracted, i highly highly recommend.

It feels like a car sales lot. Churn em and burn em type of feel. Definitely doesn't feel like a close-knit family business as when the previous owners were there.
There are so many employees now, I don't recognize any of them since they always have new/different people coming and going. Before, everyone knew your name, all about your family, job and seemed to have genuine concern and care for you. On my last cleaning, the person didn't ask anything other than how I was doing and what I was going to do once we were done. The rest of the talk was about using a water-pik system, buying the toothpaste and nightguard and how I need to step up my game in regards to my gums and teeth. I just felt like I was being judged I guess.
I went for my cleaning and explained a concern I had with a crown that chipped. They never addressed it at all. Instead I was advised to buy prescription toothpaste and get a nightguard device. Of course the 5 year old bridge I had was now needing immediate replacement because my tooth decayed so much in the past few months since my last cleaning. They also recommended to replace 3 fillings.
I told them I didn't have the money to do the bridge at the time and wanted to get the fillings done first. They kept suggesting to do the bridge and that I could get financing from a lender through them. Financing $3500 @ 27%APR is really robbery and taking advantage of people who maybe can't afford care. Even if you paid off everything after a year with that finance rate, you'd pay almost an extra $1000 in interest charges.
The old owners never charged to use nitrous during procedures. When the new owners took over they charged $25 which I wasn't happy about but, ok fine, it can't always be free. This time I went and now it's jumped up to $75.
They do decent work for sure. The facilities are nice, clean and very modern. The employees seem nice as well. I just feel like there is a bit of bedside manner missing here. I don't feel like a valued patient, I feel more like a business client.

They were safe about Covid and that means a lot. Gentle and caring. Gave me enough medicine to not feel the drilling. The vibration and the noise is the worst part of it, but, they can't really do anything about that. I would recommend this dentist.

Had a lot of work done. They work hard to minimize pain/discomfort. They communicate very well.

This is by far the best dentist office I've ever been to. They care and are so accommodating. Just got 7 teeth pulled and I thought he had only done one and he was finished. Got a top denture and it's beautiful. Thank you so much for my smile. I'm amazed and can't stop smiling. Absolutely the best!!!

Friendly and nice staff but one downfall...
I had Kylea as my tech and she was wonderful and explained everything, Dr. Taylor was also a pleasure to have work on my mouth.
I gave 4 stars because there is constantly country music playing and never anything else, maybe they could play something that everyone doesn't hate.

I have been going to Dr. Atkinson and Dr. Wilkinson for years. Dr. Atkinson is now gone so I have been seeing Dr. Wilkinson. Wonderful Dentist although he is stuck under contract working for Smiles Dental. For any of you that have not been in since Smiles Dental took over, DON'T GO! They are a Corporate Machine that cares nothing about your care and only your MONEY that is expected at the time of service. A huge portion of the previous staff have quit and are all gone now! Hmmm, This falls into the category of: You don't know what you have until it is gone! I reported my situation with the Corporate office as I was treated horribly by the Office Manager upon leaving from my appointment. On the top of the situation that I called her for, she also found a credit that was never posted to my account. I would have never known about that credit had I not called to complain about one of their staff members. Go at your own risk, you don't know how much of your money they are keeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only been going to this dentist for a few months, but they are nothing short of great!. I'm very anxious at the dentist, but Dr. Atkinson and Dr. Wilkinson are very patient with explaining what is going on, and their billing staff are wonderful. They take the time to explain what you are being billed for, what your insurance will cover, and what your portion is. No issues with making this my permanent dentist!

The Dentist (Dr. Taylor) has a wonderful sense of humor. The entire staff is positive and engaging and it's obvious that they genuinely care. My wife and I feel very fortunate that we found them!
