Excellence in Dentistry - Cottage Grove

Been coming here for almost 15 years (since moving to the grove) as long as their building stands, I will continue to receive my dental care here.

Dr. Batchelor is a gem of a dentist. He is patient, kind and caring and talks through what he is doing for nervous folks like myself. His chair-side manner is about the best I have seen anywhere and I really appreciate that he can put me at ease as much as possible. I had an urgent situation and he was able to get me in and fixed up right away. The hygienist working with him while I was there was knowledgeable, sympathetic and likewise a very caring person. The difference between good and bad dental experiences is usually the people. If you want the best, go see Dr. Batchelor and staff!

I’ve had all of my dental work done at Excellence in Dentistry for over forty years. Everyone there has always been friendly and extremely competent. I highly recommend them.

I broke a tooth and had to have a crown. They got me in the day after I called and the prep and final set by Dr. Sauve was great. He took the time to make sure my bite was good and that I was satisfied with everything. Not everyone likes to go to the dentist so when you do have to go, it is nice to know there are excellent dentists out there who care.

I have been going to see Dr. Batchelor for around 15 years. He is, by far, the best dentist I have ever gone to. I absolutely love how picky he has about every little thing! Every once in a while you can see a fun- spirited eye roll out of one of the assistants and it Cracks me up every time. I love as a patient that he is so passionate about doing things the right way. He is super kind and compassionate, generous, and funny. I will be heartbroken when he eventually retires. Your commitment to patient care and excellence does not go unnoticed, Dr. B!

I am so happy to have found Dr Batchelor. He and his entire staff were friendly and made me (a confirmed anxious mess at the dentist) feel completely at ease.

Dr Batchelor clearly loves what he does, but he is also really good with people. I feel for the first time that I won’t feel afraid to go to the dentist!

I love that we weren’t ushered into a room to be talked “at” as if we were applying for a loan to see if we were even able to book an appt to get the much needed dental work done. Instead, while scheduling the next appointment we were given a treatment plan with each service listed and how much my insurance would cover etc. - there was even a color coded chart of my teeth with each treatment area clearly shown.

My husband started seeing Dr Batchelor as well and he feels as positively as I do about the entire experience.

They are patient centered care and very much focused on patient oral health and safety of staff and patient during this COVID-19 pandemic. I really liked Vanessa, front desk manager she was very proactive. She was able to get my dental records in 5 minutes. Dentist and Tina provided really good treatment plan. Tina was very helpful with dental hygiene. Dr. Sauve was excellent dentist, caring, and knowledgeable. I agree with all previous posts. Foreigner like me truly appreciate it.

From the moment I was greeted upon entry to the moment I left Excellence in Dentistry, I was grateful for the warm reception and the friendly and informed way the technician and dentist cared for my teeth. I was told about every procedure before it was implemented; there were continual check ins to see if I was still doing OK, and humor.
I used to say that I'd rather birth a baby than sit in a dentist's chair - no longer. I will never go to a different dentist. It had been six years since I'd had a check up and cleaning - no judgement.
I really can't say enough good about the people at Excellence in Dentistry.
