Drs. Williams & Schiavone

I was recommended to Dr. Williams by both of my sisters. I had a great experience. Maria was excellent in explaining the insurance information. The entire staff are very nice, professional and personable. I strongly recommend this Dentist office to anyone in need.

I’ve been a patient with this office for over 50 yrs. I actually used to go to the original office. I cannot say enough positive things about this practice. My family members also see Dr. Williams and have always been more than satisfied with the work and treatment they received. I always feel like I’m among friends with this team and know I’ll get the care I need.
Maria took over the office a few years ago. I had no complaints from before. However, Maria brought a fresh approach. I was blown away with how efficient and knowledgeable she herself was with overall dental care. A year or so ago, I needed help over a weekend and I called her mobile number, which she freely gives out in the event you might need help at off hours. She answered right away and actively listened to what I was saying. She then told me what she would do which included calling Dr Williams and having him call in a prescription for me. 2 hrs later I had my prescription and I knew the next day Maria would move mountains to get me into a specialist for a root canal. Sure enough first thing the next day she called me with my appointment and what to expect.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and her position. She is up to the minute on what is happening in that office and she keeps things running smoothly. It’s not an easy job and she puts her heart and soul in each and every person who comes into contact with her.
The rest of the staff is amazing. Always polite, friendly and they all get along. Judy has been cleaning my teeth for years and I feel like I see an old friend when I come in there. She is the best. So patient and kind.
Any negative reviews given here are just not accurate.
It takes two to form a partnership and I know first hand Maria is more than willing to meet anyone more than half way. Everyone has to pull their fair share. This office is a place of business. Appointments need to be kept in a timely fashion. Employees need to be treated with respect. The office clearly states what will be expected upon arrival. There really shouldn’t be any surprises. I know my expectations have been set before I arrive. I come prepared to have the work completed and payment available. That’s the way a business works.
Lastly, I’d like to thank everyone there for the atmosphere, compassion and overall thoughtfulness extended to each and every patient. Thank you for all you do!

Thank you to Dr. Williams and Schiavone and especially to their staff. They are always so warm and friendly. Maria always can work me in if I’m having a problem with my teeth. She even gives discounts if my insurance won’t pay for everything. You certainly don’t find that in every dental office. Maria even explain to me that even though they take my insurance, they are not in network. I didn’t know what that meant and that I would have to pay more out of pocket and she explained it so that I could understand since I am not an insurance guru. That’s when she worked with me and gave me a discount! I would recommend this dental practice to everyone. Love them.

Best experience for dental office. Every one was very kind. Dr. Williams was the best. Took his time and explained everything in detail. Glad I found them. The dentist I had before was everything terrible. Shively Family is NOT like last one. I really dont leave reviews unless they are GREAT.

Going to the dentist can be a little bit nerve racking. But, Dr Williams and the rest of the staff made my experience actually enjoyable! They are awesome and make everyone feel special! My teeth are in good hands with this practice. I highly recommend that you go to them!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for over 20 years and since his new secretary(Maria) things have changed. Unfortunately not in a good way, she is very rude, demanding and disrespectful. I've tried to be nice and stay with DR. Williams but I can no longer tolerate Maria. She called me today to inform me to find another dentist because she was tired of dealing with 2 different dental insurances and it was causing her too much stress. Maria I am sorry that doing your hired job is stressful maybe you need to find a new field of work. I have no choice with the insurance my employer offer nor my secondary insurance. Dr. Williams thanks for everything over the last 20+ years and please don't take it personal, but your hired help needs to find a new field of work.

I bet they forgot about my HORRIBLE experience last year but I DID NOT!

I had been a patient of Dr. Williams for 30+ years! Yes, he was the only dentist I've known since I was a kid!

Let me get down to it. First, upon entering the office and telling the office manager, Maria what insurance coverage I have, she immediately said they don't take my insurance before even looking into it. I had called my insurance company prior to my visit to see if they were in my network and THEY ARE!

Maria apologized and gave me whitening gel that I had inquired about for free for her mistake.

I was there for a cleaning and a couple of fillings. One of the fillings just wasn't right. Therefore, I had to return 3 TIMES! That meant 3 different days of having a sore mouth, being extremely sluggish and a numb face and tongue for up to 6 HOURS!

Next, after Dr. Williams made 3 attempts to get a filling done right, I went to another dentist, Mortenson Dental on Dixie Highway (who I highly recommend) to have it done correctly with one visit.

When I returned to this office to have my cleaning completed. I wanted to continue having them as my dental office thinking no ones perfect and giving them another chance.

I was chastised like a child by the office manager, Maria for being about 10-15 minutes late, instead of simply being told to reschedule which would've been fine.

Maria then questioned me about my filling and asked if I went somewhere else. When I told her I did she then told me that I could not come ito the office.

She then came in tow, with Dr. Williams to my car to express his disappointment in me for going to another dental office. Once again, I was being chastised and talked down to! He then told me that I can no longer be his patient.

Maria stood there with a devilish grin on her face as if she was happy that he supported her unprofessionalism.

Before leaving she very immaturely stated that my teeth look great and that the whitening gel she gave me must've worked! I made sure I let her know that I hadn't even used her gel! My teeth look beautiful without it!

It is really sad that I had ties cut with a dentist I really liked and had been with most of my life! Usually, Dr. Williams is a kind and friendly dentist. But that day it was like the wicked witch Maria had cast an evil spell over him!

Until Maria is GONE and Dr. Williams apologies to me, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE!

The Google reviews are TRUE! This Maria person acts very bipolar! Her behavior is unpredictable and her customer service is nonexistent!

You've been warned! BEWARE!

Best dentist office I've ever been too. Very helpful and will go out of there way to help. Will be a return customer. Maria did a excellent job with working with me on x-rays and fitting me into the schedule right away. A+
