Ann Arbor's Dentist

This guy is one of 4 "biological" dentists in the country. He knows mercury toxicity well. Connection to Lyme, candida, chronic fatigue. He clears up brain fog. He listens. Says he's learned more from his patients than anything else. This guy *really* listens. If you have some hairbrained stuff going on, he listens so together you can get at the root of it. Never met a more well informed, receptive, professional and non judgmental practitioner in my life. His practice embraces the art and the science of dentistry.

My experiences with Dr. Dobraki and Justin (the hygienist I see) have been great. They are very friendly and professional. The wait time before appointments can be lengthy, but not always.

I am very particular about my health. Recently my physician tested me for being constanly very tired and we found high levels of mercury in my blood that were traced back to my silver fillings. I sought out Dr. Dobracki due to his great reputation for holistic care. I was beyond impressed. The tests he perfomed were spot on. By far the most detail oriented dentist I have met. We removed the bad and leaky fillings using these new technologies so it was done safely. There were mulitple devices in my mouth to suck up vapors, prevent me from swallowing anything, and I was placed on an oxygen mask so I would onbly breathe pure air during the process since the mercury vapors can travel. My fillings were replaced by tooth colored ones that also had no BPA or Bis-GMA which I thought was fantastic. I now feel better, have more energy, and am gratefuly for the care I received. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

I really like this dentist and felt it was a 5 Star operation because the methods and treatment seemed incredibly logical and the dentists don't hesitate to entertain their patients' preferences. I never saw any of the dentists recommend a treatment or pressure a patient to get a filling when a "wait and watch" method was an option. However, I witnessed an employee, not one of the dentists, selling a customer a SOVA Aero Night Guard for 60ish dollars. This employee also told the customer emphatically that soap and water should not be used to clean the item and that only the SOVA Mouth Guard Spray Cleaner and Freshener should be used. When it was my turn to be seen, I was also told that my problem could probably be helped with a SOVA night guard, which they had available for about $60. Needless to say, I was very surprised to find the exact same product on Amazon, including a case for it, for $19.31. And the manufacturer recommends soap and water to clean it. I was shocked and saddened that this WONDERFUL place would so blatantly deceive a customer.
Follow-up:
I wasn't confused before the A2's Dentist response, but now I am. I called the SOVA company and they said that they don't have a special Pro variety sold only at dentist offices. So, interesting.

I cannot thank Dr Lindsay enough for giving me back my ability to smile. Not once did I feel judged for the condition of my teeth. Instead I was given the information I needed about how to take back by oral health.

Long weekend in Ann Arbor for Michigan / Minnesota game - husband had terrible tooth pain. The dr's took him in on Saturday morning in between patients - gave him a diagnosis - eased his pain to get him thru the weekend till we got back to Chicago to see our dentist. Was able to watch the game - GO BLUE 33 to 10 !!

Dr. Dobracki and his staff were amazing with my daughter and were very accommodating to us since we were coming from out of state to have her work done with him. I highly recommend them.

Was impressed with the time spent explaining procedures and testing.

X-ray machine didn't work. My original appointment was cancelled and moved several weeks. I very much enjoyed the conversation and laughter of Alex.

I have had only great experiences! Dr. Holman and Dr. Dobracki are amazing, and the staff is always very welcoming and knowledgable! Highly recommend!
