I came here as a new patient. The only downfall is that it took a little time for me to come in because they are a busy office. After visiting I understand why...its a smaller office that is kept very personable, low stress, filled with staff who did not judge me at all and made me feel accepted with all my weird questions and dental problems. I had the most detailed dental exam ever. The doctor pointed out things in my anatomy that no dentist has ever mentioned. I use to be a big smoker so I REALLY appreciated the doctor taking some time to check for oral cancer. Again, a first for me.
The front desk person was very warm and friendly. She even called my insurance company and found out exactly what was covered while I was there. I was dreading to have to make that call.
I was told they have three hygenists. The one who cleaned my teeth was a little aggressive but I have to admit my teeth have NEVER felt cleaner. She used this baking soda blaster and all the tea stain is GONE!
I would recommend this place, even going to take my wife who is petrified of dentists after growing up in South America.

My daughter just had her first filling done with Dr. Stephanie. As always, I love this office. The doctors and staff are professional and personable and most importantly, committed to the most holistic practices available in dentistry.

After years of searching we finally found a holistic dentist office. It is a 4 hour round trip drive for us and so worth it. The staff really listen to our concerns, explain all the procedures and make sure we are as comfortable as possible.

Just canceled my appointment. Made an appointment several weeks ago, received a couple of texts to confirm the appointment. Fast-forward today, a mere two hours before the appointment they informed me that with my insurance I have to pay in full today and maybe receive a reimbursement check later. Which in itself does not bother me. However, they insisted that they tried to contact me several times, which never happened. And when I complained about it (in a civilized manner, of course) they acted like it was my fault and offered no reschedule option. Honestly, had they apologized even, I would have probably gone through with it and figure out money one way or another. So, my advice is this: when you make your appointment, make sure you ask about insurances and billing. Make sure you write everything down, including the names of the people you talked to. This place feels shady.

Getting to experience Dr. Dobracki and his staff has been a wonderful time. Jesse at the front desk made sure I was taken care of. They spend the time to really learn about me and what help I need. If you aren't super happy with your current dentist, go see Keith!

This was my second trip, and the first for my three boys. All three were impressed with the office staff, the doctor, and the willingness to explain in detail what was going on, and how they should care for it at home. I appreciated the time taken to explain to me what the concerns were, and what I should be witnessing at home as they care for themselves.

I have only been a patient at this office for one year so have only seen the doctor a couple of times. Due to the high qualifications and reccomendations of the doctor, I make a drive in from Bloomfield. My youngest daughter was married last week and the day before the wedding she bit on a fork AT THE rehersal dinner and broke her front tooth in half!! I was ina complete panic and it was Saturday night with a Sunday wedding. I called the office and finaly got in touch with the doctor's cell phone at midnight. He was up north in Traverse City. I paniced even more. He was so nice and calming on the phone and assured me that things would be ok.
Dr. Dobracki was so great to us! He left from his vacation in Traverse City in the middle of the night to be in Ann Arbor before my daughter's weding photosearly in the morning. Her tooth was fixed and looked beautiful. INCREDIBLY he chargerd us nothing for the visit and the repair...he called it a wedding pesent:) I actually cried! He even calmed me down as I was a complete wreck from the time the tooth broke. The wedding was beautiful, pictures were amazing, and he even came to the wedding!
LOVE THIS PLACE!

I was relocated to Ann Arbor for work and of course the first week in a new city my tooth breaks in half. Dr Dobracki was great and I loved this office. They made me feel at home and even pointed out great spots in Ann Arbor to check out. One of the restaurants they recomended had become my new favorite! My tooth was fixed the same day and it looks better than it did before. I truly appreciate the artistic aspects of this dental office, but my favorite part was how warm and welcoming everyone was. I felt like at previous dentists the doctor always just ran in and out in 30 seconds. Here, Dr. Dobracki actually sat down, got to know me, and explained everything to me about my tooth with words I could undrstand:) My whole family will be coming here.
UPDATE--
I came in for my regular check up and the Dr. Dobracki did this big long exam where he found a mole on my ear and suggested I get it looked at. He showed me why it was irregular and comapers it to oher ones. Well it turns out it was what they called an early start to cancer. Thank you so much Dr. Dobracki! I saw both my physician and OB the week prior and no one mentioned it. Now I can say my teeth and skin both feel great:) haha. Also LOVE the pictures of Destin (the office therapy dog) skiing!

I went there once and was examined by Lisa Bowerman. I explained that I was reluctant be x-rayed because of cancer in my family, and I would consent only if it was absolutely necessary. LB insisted that it was needed, even though I had a simple cavity, saying that "I don't go in with the drill without an x-ray." When I asked why other dentists do it without an x-ray, I got no response, although she did laugh at me. The hygienist gave me a brochure that recommended eating all sorts of berries as a way to detox. Seriously, I prefer honesty to this new-agie nonsense. I felt dismissed.
The place itself is overcrowded. Bowerman was in a hurry (obviously, had no time to talk to me more than the minimum necessary) and it was difficult to get an appointment. When I tried to reschedule, the next available appointment was six weeks later. I would have waited had it been worth it, but it's not. Ann Arbor has plenty of other offices with no less qualified and far nicer staff. I moved to another clinic, thank you very much.

For an emergency consult, I felt respected. I got exactly the measure of care I requested and didn't feel judged by the dentist. He had a deft touch and really put me at ease. I was impressed with the level of holistic education he made evident. Easy-going office staff also helped ease this dentaphobic. A snafu with a gas leak delayed my access to pain meds, but the doctor called me in about an hour and said a prescription would be available at noon.
