Following the intial call, I'd try to tried to call this office, no one answers the phone and they don't return messages. Staff is friendly when face to face but service is horrible. My projected completion date could be up to three months, that was bad enough but it's now going on five months. I'm taking unpaid time off for these appointments and last three they didn't do anything. Month after month, I've been told, sorry come back in another 30 days. Why 30 days? No consideration for wasting my time! I'd could never recommend this business!

Iv been trying to get an appointment for months now. The first couple of months was the doctor kept calling in sick. Now they won't remind me of any of my appointments and I keep missing them.

Getting my new dentures here was one of the best experiences I've had. The staff from Megan , Emily and the doctors , everyone here are the best . They are very knowledgeable, very carefully, caring. You won't be disappointed . So please give them a chance to take care of all your dental needs.

I went here in February for an abscess on my gums that occurred due to poor care of my teeth in my 20s as a result of bad mental health. I am fully aware that it's my fault, but despite that the doctor still shamed me pretty heavily, showing me a picture of the abscess and asking me "how bad does this look to you?". Whatever, I can brush that off, but it added to my negative experience.
They recommended an extraction and biopsy but I would need a referral. They gave me a list of places that accepted my insurance that was clearly outdated. Half of the phone numbers were disconnected, some of the practices didn't exist anymore, and some of the doctors had moved.
I settled on University of Michigan as that was really the only viable option with a good reputation. I called them, and they informed me that I had to call the dentist with a referral, so I did. I called UM the next day, and they advised me that they didn't have the referral, but it sometimes takes 24 hours so if they sent it at end of day it might not be there yet. So I called them the next day, and there was still no referral. So I called the dentist's office again and requested a new one. I waited two more days to call UM again, and they still did not have a referral. They informed me of the web portal it had to be done through, but the dentist's office informed me that they have "done this tons of times" when I mentioned it.
I was told by the dentist's office that it would take 90-120 days to hear back from UM. If true (which is doubtful, considering in my efforts I found a voice mailbox that said biopsy referrals receive return calls in 10 business days), it should have been mentioned when I first got the referral, but of course, the problems don't end there.
Fortunately for me I found another practice in Flint that accepts my insurance. I was able to get in, schedule a cleaning/inspection, a followup extraction, and complete the extraction within the span of about 6 weeks. I had it two weeks ago, actually. They were very nice and informative and I didn't feel judged.
I set a reminder in my phone for 120 days from the last time a referral was "sent", which is today. I have not heard from UM, and I have not heard from their office, either. I was neglected, ignored, and shamed with a relatively serious condition.
This place is probably fine for regular dentistry needs, cleaning, and maintenance, but anything more serious than that I at least had a horrible experience.
