I am usually a bit anxious about dental work. This was my first time using Sala. The service in all areas was first class. Dr Ratay and his assistant Shawna were great. I would highly recommend. Don F.

I have been a patient for many years, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Now that I have a daughter, I love that we can all be seen in the same office. When she hit her tooth on her crib, we were terrified. Dr. Jason got us in on Saturday, was amazing in calming us down and re-assuring she was fine. My daughter LOVED him. Thanks Sala Family!

The experience was excellent, especially since I hadn't been to a dentist in over 5 years.
Each staff member was friendly, courteous, and efficient. My hygienist, Kandace, was
really great, and I am one who believes the hygienists are the ones who really determine
the quality of a dental visit because they are the most "hands-on."

I am from San Diego and was traveling with my wife and four children from a family reunion in Park City over to Santa Rosa, California with a planned stop for the night in Reno. We are going to Santa Rosa because I am racing in the Ironman Santa Rosa on July 29 (in two days)! My tooth started really hurting me out of the blue during the drive to Reno. I knew I wouldn't make it to Reno until about 6pm and I tried calling multiple dental offices all claiming on their websites that they handle after-hours emergencies. This was definitely an emergency (I needed this problem fixed ASAP _before_ my Ironman race)! None of the 4-5 offices I called would take me after 5pm. I finally found Sala Family Dentristy and they made time for me to come in. Once there, I was treated with the very highest levels of professionalism and care. I have never had such great treatment at a dental office. Dr. Ryan Waring is excellent and was able to complete a much-needed root canal very quickly and with amazing skill. I never once had even a slight pain during the procedure. And his assistants were equally amazing. If I lived near Reno, there is no question this place is where I would have all my dental work done. Thanks for saving my ability to race Dr. Waring!

I went in recently and got my check up and cleaning. Van my hygienist was an absolute pleasure. I love the view and scenery. Van took great care of me and I felt like my teeth are extremely clean. Van has been a hygienist for 18 years, and I was so amazed and grateful to be taken care of by someone so skilled. I had the pleasure of speaking with Brenda as I purchased some toothpaste Van recommend and Brenda made it so quick and pleasurable. I can't wait for my next cleaning.

I was overcharged for $64 on my first visit. On my second visit I was told I had a credit…but on my second visit I was charged $99 on my debit, for a $49 bill. I would've apppreicated a call to let me know about the credit and also given the option to apply it to my next viist or offered to send a refund. I really questioned things was when a broke of floss broke off in my tooth after getting a filling and I had to use a magnifying mirror and a light to pull it out with tweezers. My first visit was just a cleaning and exam with x-rays, etc. I had advanced treatment but was not told the price of this. Sticker shock when I went to check out and it was $600, after insurance. So this was overpriced for shoddy work.

So amazing to see the survival of the best orthodontist and dentist office in the region! Back from a skeleton crew and starting to open up cross-over hours, since I have to get checks for everything! My favorite thing was when Jessica came to get me from my dad’s truck! She is the best—she even called back twice to get insurance stuff figured out for my dad! And it is always fun to see Dr. Casey—he thinks my teeth are beautiful!!! And I agree!

Dr. Karen and Megan always do an AMAZING job on my teeth! This time, my final 2 crowns to complete my restorative dentistry and as usual flawless, and it only took a little bit over a half hour to complete! These two are some of the most competent professionals I have ever had work on my teeth and I would absolutely recommend them to the highest degree! Thank you Dr. Karen and thank you Megan!

3 stars cause of office staff...

If you are a parent wondering about lip/tongue ties..I suggest a dental office in Carson..I am not sure of the name..but it is the only dental office in the area that came up when searching ties...most dentist do not take them seriously and I feel this place is the same sadly...(ties cause dryness which cause cavities).

Dr. Josh(I believe thats his name) is great..yes..this place is pricey but worth it....I should have came here after a bad experience at community health alliance..two teeth got ruined. amalgam should be banned!! Never allow your dentist to use it..

I paid for the membership for myself. I was told at that appointment that I could pay $500 and something for that visit or $415...
I do not understand where the $500 came from..I only got an ex-ray for one tooth...and a female dentist I was not fond of talked to me..(I do not remember her name..). I felt like she was talking at me, not to me.

Anyway...This was March 2020..a few weeks before covid limits....Well I had an appointment scheduled that got cancelled..so...my one year membership was basically a 10 month membership(which did bother me..I paid for a year).
I ended up going back in September about maybe before then...August...for the same tooth because of an infection..I called on a Friday and thinking because covid..maybe they'd just be willing to call in a prescription for antibiotics..nope..I am told, you must see the dentist. I had to wait all weekend..so Monday..the same thing as the first appointment..ex-ray..and this time I speak to dr josh ..who I like..he didn't come at me with "you have to do this" which was the reason I didn't like with the first dentist.
I had assumed my one emergency membership would cover this...Nope..$155 about...I am confused because I was never told in that first visit that my emergency was being used. I am sure if I asked to talk to whoever is in charge..they would not have made me pay..but I was exhausted from a miserable weekend...swollen tooth..painful throbbing...foggy brain. I just wanted my antibiotics.
(I got the tooth pulled shortly after..it went well).

Now for my son..I got a call about scheduling a cleaning..which I was not interested in..and for my sons cavities to be looked at..which I was wanting..
I schedule the appointment and she slyly added "ok you are all set for the cleaning and exam"...I was tried and didn't feel like telling her no.
..he barely will cooperate...the cleaning is not happening.
