Gateway Family Dentistry – Sedation and Implants

I’ve been coming to Gateway for three years now, love Dr Erwin and Dr Patel. The Dr.s and staff are very professional, caring and friendly. I have vertigo which at times can affect me at my appt. the staff is so caring, patient and understanding. I can’t say enough about this office. I highly recommend. My Son has 0 anxiety about coming here as well, he is always put at ease. April at the front desk is awesome. Thanks for an anxiety free experience. :)

In the wee hours on a Friday morning I woke up with excruciating tooth pain. I prayed I could get in to see someone. I looked on line and saw that Gateway had good reviews. I called as soon as they opened. On the other side of the phone was a kind voice who was empathetic and offered hope. I was not an established patient but they fit me in. I went that afternoon and was met by a professional, compassionate staff. Dr. Patel is who I saw initially. After tests and exam, it was revealed that I had a fractured tooth. I was in tears!! The tooth could not be saved so it meant extraction!!! Again more tears! Not sure if it was the pain (worst Ive ever had), dental anxiety (Im a wus and terrified of the dentist) or the financial aspect of it
( already a major surgery this year and furbaby had surgery)... so I was an emotional disaster. Dr. Patel was sweet as was the staff, they listened to my concerns and were understanding. I then met with Dr. Erwin, again professional and compassionate. Plan of action, extraction and implant on Monday. They broke down the cost, explained proceedure step by step and answered all my questions. We developed a plan to get through weekend and on Monday was seen for the proceedure. I chose sedation because I couldnt imagine being aware while getting my tooth pulled... best way to go.....AMAZING. All went well, No issues. Again the staff was great. There were no surprise fees, no waiting... just as expected. I can honestly say I have found my dental home. They really are great! Thank you Dr. Patel, Dr. Erwin and staff for helping me. And Nikki, you didnt know me on the phone that day and it didnt matter, you helped me!!
If you are new to the area or just looking for a dental home, give them a try. Forever Grateful!

They are very nice people but the doctor that did my surgery did a horrible job! They did not give me the correct dosage for my wisdom teeth removal so I woke up during the middle of it. I literally I had to pay there in pain while they finished removing the last two. This will haunt me for a long time.

Best Dentist I have ever been too!!! This place is amazing! Clean, friendly, modern. The entire staff is friendly, funny, and professional. I no longer hate the dentist and look forward to going! I always ask when is it time for me to come back everytime I leave. I have tried 6 dentists in the past 2 years. I am glad to finally find this place. Terry and Dr. Erwin make you feel like family. I drive an hour and a half to come to this dentist. I will gladly keep driving!

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Patel. She is incredibly personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I am one of those people who has a lot of dentist office anxiety and the staff here keeps me at ease. I had to have 6 fillings done at once and they were super patient and let me take breaks as needed. Would reccomend to everyone.

Absolutely the best dentist I've been able to find! Such a family like environment. My children LOVE coming here. Very clean and nice decor. My children love watching tv while having their teeth worked on. I highly recommend gateway family dentistry to everyone that needs a new dentist.

Looking for a new dentist can be nerve wracking. I'm lucky to have found Gateway Family Dentistry. Dr. Erwin and her staff quickly make you comfortable and deliver excellent service throughout the experience. As someone very particular about dental hygiene I couldn't recommend them more strongly.

Having not been to the dentist is a very,very long time, to say I was apprehensive about visiting a dental office was a bit of an understatement. After my first visit to Dr. Erwin's office , I was blown away by the kindness and sincerity of her and her staff. Their hospitality is unmatched and truly everyone in her office has a genuine care for their patients. Everyone made me feel comfortable and truly eased all my worries. The staff treats you like a friend, while being very professional at the same time. Very knowledgeable. Dr. Rachel is the sweetest and I absolutely love my hygienist, Cyndi. I never thought I’d love going to the dentist.

Efficient and caring staff. It's hard to find skilled dentists who also are caring people. And their certification in sedation is a game-changer for those who have had bad experiences before, are procedure phobic, need a lot done or have a low pain threshold. They explain everything in language you can understand, too.
