BEWARE! As a, thorough, business & finance individual am VERY cautious of "loopholes" and potential scams.
At 50 years young, having NEVER had any major dental issues, found through my general dentist that I was in need of a root canal.
Having full insurance coverage, called these folks for pricing and was told "$389.00". I checked AND double checked that this amount would be the TOTAL amount I would pay upon completion....I was not only assured but reassured that "$389.00 is, in fact, your grand total upon completion." Appointment made.
Day of appointment, at check in, I asked AGAIN.....my total, out the door price is $389? "Yes", she giggled, "only $389."
Procedure goes well, tech is outstanding, no pain, I couldn't have been more relieved!
Check out time......I prepare to pay my "$389" when I'm told. "$852." SCREECHING TIRES (I hear in my head) WHAT?! The gal leans back, where she can't be seen by co-workers and says quietly. "It's not my fault, I'm so sorry, they do this all the time." I asked to speak with the manager, whom I was told had left to retrieve her sick son, from school. I suggested she get her on the phone, she did and handed me her phone. I'm told, by the manager, how sorry she is and it's a simple mistake that she can quickly recalculate and get me a better number, she does and comes up with a new total and plan "$600 and that includes sending the mold of your tooth to the lab and installing new tooth." I stated, the old plan and price included ALL of that and was $389!!
To which she states "That's the best I can do, but we'll be glad to put that new tooth in when the balance is paid." WTH?!!?
These folks are holding my tooth for ransom!!!!
I refuse to budge and they are NOW threatening my credit.
Good luck folks, I, sincerely, wish you the best.....but the best isn't here @ Abilene Family Dentistry.

Always have a great experience there. New renovations look great! It’s a very clean environment with friendly staff and private patient rooms. It seems like a small office, but they have some of the latest tech and they know what they’re doing!
