Ideal Dental Amarillo

My wife and I both love Smile Workshop. The staff are always helpful and nice. The dentist are compassionate and explain all of the processes. The warm and fun inviroment makes it a fun experience. I have issues with my gums and when I get my theeth cleaned the hygienist is tender, but thorough. Thank you Smile.

From when you first walk into the building they are respectful and very friendly. Gloria did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and because of her I won’t go anywhere else. The Dr’s are great.

This was my first filling at Smile Workshop. Dr. Rigby did the procedure and did my exam last time I came in. He is OUTSTANDING! Professional, skilled, and painless. Great experience.

I went in for my yearly checkup and some dental problems as a new patient. They did the usual xrays and got me back in a room. The lady came in and asked what my issues were and then told me about a deep cleaning. She said she would get the estimate for me. When she came back with the estimate the dentist was also there. They explained the deep cleaning, and when I said I couldn't afford the $500 AFTER insurance, they ended the appointment.
No acknowledgement of the issues I was having. No offer of a regular clean. Nothing. The issue I came in for wouldn't be solved by a deep clean but they just wanted to sell me an expensive procedure.
At checkout, they tried to sell me the deep clean again, and tried to get me to get a medical credit card to pay for it.
Now, I wasted my yearly dental visit and I still have the same problems. I guess I will spend the next year uncomfortable and in pain, and then pick a different dentist.

See. This is what I'm talking about. I don't have an active infection in my gums. They never once mentioned an active infection of my gums. In fact, the reason they wanted to give me a deep cleaning was "Everyone should have one and you haven't." You're still trying to sell me a service I don't need, all while providing zero dental care and charging the insurance as if you did.
So, try again.

I was accused of lying on my paperwork because I had previously been tested for Covid (negative) when in reality the questions asked "have you ever been tested and are awaiting results." Of course had I known they'd require my testing results I would have brought them, but it was never an instruction. The unprofessionalism and downright rude demeanor I was met with was completely unwarranted. I work in two hospitals, I am extremely sensitive to the covid threat and therefore take a great responsibility in making sure I will not spread this virus to my patients. I would never treat anyone in the manner that they treated me. I will be telling my colleagues of their behavior towards responsible healthcare workers.

Great people very profesional. I like that they plan everything and give you exact numbers on how much you are going to pay out of the pocket. Totally clear on the terms of the plan and the expectations. Thank you for such a great experience.

I had a bridge done here and have had nothing but trouble with it. My son had work done at the location on Georgia and it was a terrible experience. Now he is scared to death of going to the dentist. The crowns he had put on are now coming off and I have to find somewhere else to take him. Did I mention he is now scared to go anywhere near a dentist.... My husband went in for a cleaning and again another terrible experience.

We had a little problem with the time of my appt, there was a problem in the system and I had to go back to work so the receptionist was extremely helpful as well as the dentist and the dental assistant. They're always so helpful and answer all my questions and always so nice.

Absolutely fabulous! Staff was so nice and welcoming! Usually I dislike going to the dentist but I absolutely felt so comfortable and excited to being able to have my smile healthy and happy!

Gotta give a s/o to the dental assistants! The team I had was great and they all worked amazing together between the dentist the hygienist and the assistant. I highly recommend this place if you want fast, careful, and respectful care! Best dental office I’ve been to!
