I am delighted to have found Coppell Modern Dentistry. The office staff is efficient and professional while also being warm and welcoming. Everyone I met was friendly, explained all of the procedures clearly and answered every question fully. They were personable and kind. The dentist who crowned my tooth took time to explain exactly why I needed to have my mouth numbed during the procedure and assured me that there was no danger of side effects from the numbing. I, however, know myself well enough to know that I did not require numbing. Much to my surprise, she sat down and listened closely to me, asked for clarification occasionally, and treated me with respect. I asked her to give me a chance to show her that I would be OK. We agreed to start the procedure without numbing and add it if I experienced severe pain. She started to drill and asked several times if all was well. She finished the procedure without having to give me any medication. It was the first time she had not used pain medication on a patient who was getting a crown. She was not nervous and showed no signs of being uncomfortable or unsure. She was a Rock Star! I thank her for listening to and trusting me. I have rarely had a doctor of any kind who treated me as if I were a person rather than a patient.

Dr. Shinan Guo was a fantastic dentist. He took care of me on my visits. While providing excellent service he made me feel comfortable because I am extra afraid to go to the dentist. My teeth looked great and felt great. I couldn’t have chosen a better dentist. Thank you and your staff Dr. Guo 😁

Love this place! I’ve been coming here ten years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Guo and His staff are so caring and compassionate. He explains everything he is doing to ease my anxiety and provides the most comfortable dental experience. His concern is truly for my dental health and well-being. I know I’m in good hands when I come here.

This is a great place to take care of your teeth and front desk staff (Laura) are very welcoming and friendly. Everything was on time and Hiba and Jessica was very professional and examined and provided with solutions by priority. Had to do periodontal root cleaning. I felt that I was in good hands.

EDIT: I got a second opinion and turns out I was over diagnosed. I just needed a simple cleaning and I do not have a cavity. So disappointed with my experience here.

My visit was less than exemplary at this office. I went in for a routine exam and cleaning. Turns out I needed a deeper clean according to the 2 minutes the doctor spent poking at my teeth and after they ran the numbers it came out to over $1,000... due to a new laser treatment they use. Mind you, the normal deep cleans cost around $200 with insurance.

I then was told by their front desk that I could apply for a credit card to pay for this treatment within 5 minutes of finding out this insane price. Being overwhelmed I agreed to see if I would be “approved” since their representative assured me it wasn’t an application and wouldn’t effect my credit whatsoever. Well turns out that was a lie and my credit has been negatively effected by 7 points after this “approval” opened a line of credit on my account after I never even signed anything. I called to inquire about this to be met with an “I’m sorry but we don’t know how that happened we didn’t do that.” No explanation, just a 3 minute apology.

I’m giving them 2 stars because of the friendly staff but honestly this place took advantage of a new patient that wasn’t able to pay for their “modern” ways of treating normal dental problems. I got nothing from this visit, not even a full 5 minutes of the dentists time. I fully regret coming here.

I have changed my mind about this office.

This office has just one hygienist. The last time I had a periodontal cleaning done by her, I thought she was rushed for some reason and did a shoddy job. When I reported that to the office, they would not admit she did anything wrong but in fact insisted that she did a great job!

When I returned to the office for the next cleaning, this hygienist refused to attend to me because I had criticized her after the previous visit. The dentist then very politely advised me that I could no longer continue in that office since he had only one hygienist and he could not force her to clean my teeth. So I should go elsewhere.

Bottom line - I have never seen a hygienist dictate to the dental office whose teeth she would or would not clean and a patient being let go because a hygienist was averse to criticism.

Hence, I can no longer recommend this office.

Modern office. Friendly receptionists. Responsive Operations Manager. Great hygienist. Highly qualified dentists.

I had a highly positive experience with this business and I will unequivocally recommend this facility to everyone in this area.

More recently I had to have a root canal and a crown which was performed by Victoria Tountas (Endodontist) and Shinan Guo (Dentist). Everything went perfectly well and I was completely fine the following day without having to take any antibiotics or painkillers.

Once again I had very positive experience with the rest of the people in this office, in particular, Laura Vasquez (Office Manager), Aunnica Zacca, and Rashmi Ravi (Front Desk), Hiba Ansari (Dental Assistant), and Jessica Lang (Hygienist),

Based on my experience, I would recommend this office unequivocally.

My husband and I have been patients for years. While they have a newer team, everyone is great! Jessica the Hygienist is super friendly, thorough and good at her job! We also love the front desk crew, Laura and her team!

One of the worst dental office in town. They wanted to do a procedure which was not necessary at all. I would have to spend $ 500 from my pocket to do it. The procedure they were asking do was Bone graft which is totally a fraud by the dental industry.

Thank you all so much for your kindness and caring. I was pretty nervous coming to the dentist but it ended up being a great experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and able to see the Dr quickly. the manager even came out and introduced herself. I really appreciate the way this office takes care of their patients. I will definately be bringing my family here and recommending this office to others looking for a great dentist!
