Aspen Dental

The staff is very professional and thorough. They're friendly with the patients and are willing to work with you in whatever capacity that is needed. The only drawback that I experienced was having to wait for an extended time to be seen. All in all, my experience was very positive! 😀

For my first time I ever went to the dentist I am happy to say they took care of me would be happy to go here again

Everyone at Aspen dentally of Midland was very welcoming, warm, and kind. Check in was smooth sailing, and I didn’t wait more than ten minutes to go back for my exam. Jackie, my technician, did an absolute wonderful job on my X-rays and probing. I have a particularly small mouth, so X-rays are not an easy task on me, but Jackie stuck with it, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Patel was very sweet and informative. She asked me several times if I had any questions, and was sure to answer all the questions that I did have. Sometimes visiting the dentist can be nerve racking, but everyone at Aspen dental made my visit enjoyable!

The last two scheduled have been horrible. They haven’t done what they said. Keep making me schedule another appointment. I sat over an hour waiting for the dentist once I was taken to the back. She came in and numbed me and it was 45 minutes till she came back. At that point only half the work was done and when I asked if she was going to do the rest of the work that was prepaid for she said there was a miss understanding and only had time to do a part of it. Horrible experience and if I hadn’t prepaid I would have walked out.

My first visit. I was there a total of 2 1/2 hours after arriving at my initial appointment time just to get crown recemented. Said they were shorthanded. Doctor not personable at all. I don't think he even introduced himself. Staff tried to be friendly. Very unorganized. I was apprehensive about even staying and letting the dentist do the dental work. Considering rescheduling my son's appointment just to get checkup, in hopes of finding an independent dentist on our insurance.

On December 4, 2017, I had an appointment at 5 pm with Aspen Dental in Midland, Texas. I purposely set my appointment at 5 pm so I would have time to drive in from my work location, which was 1 hr away from Midland. I arrived right at 5 pm and signed in as per Aspen Dental's procedure. I sat down in their waiting area and waited patiently for 2-1/2 hrs until 7:30 pm. I asked at that time when I could see the dentist for my appointment and was told that the Dr had left the premises. I asked them to call the Dr back to the office, especially since it was difficult for me to get off work early enough to make it to my appointment. I was told "No" and when I continued to question how this type of incident could happen, the police were called to escort me out. Needless to say, I am very angry about the whole incident. I know their whole office staff saw me sitting in their waiting area but no one cared enough to ask me about my appointment or why I was there. What makes me even angrier is that I earlier recommended Aspen to a friend of mine but his experience was similar in that he had to wait 3 hrs before he got in to see the Dr. The problem with Aspen Dental is they overbook patients and they don't care how inconvenienced their patients are. I do not normally file complaints against any companies but I am making an exception in this case. I will never return to any Aspen Dental location and I will never recommend them to any friends of mine.

If I could give a lower score than 1 star I would have. Wife called made appointment. She got their and wanted to take X-rays. She said she had them done already and they can be sent to them. They said they can’t use someone else’s X-rays. They were supposed to do the work and did nothing. Said it was for consultation only. Not what we were told before but ok. Then was handed a sheet of work they said she needed. After insurance it would be almost 5k. For a cleaning and 2 crowns .. AFTER INSURANCE. I went in and tried to get a better understanding of the charges and work they said needed to be done. I explained to them she already had a cleaning done 5 months ago. Why does she need another? Just stared at me. Why do the crowns cost so much after insurance.. again no answers just “I DONT MAKE THE PRICES”.

I took her to another dentist and the price will MUCH cheaper and was told a cleaning was not needed at all and only needed 1 crown. At this point I was very confused. They asked where I went I took her before and all they did was shake their head stating we are not the first customers that have had un needed work suggested or preformed. Most customers have bad experience with them. Thief’s is all I have to say for them.

Not worth the time much less the money. I have NEVER been so disappointed in a place as I am with them. I hope everyone reads this and takes it into consideration.

Surprised you even responded to the post, I will NEVER call on Aspen, on the contrary, I will do my best to detour ANYONE that is considering your business.

I should have looked more in depth at other reviews before going and listened to other friends who have been to Aspen. I just wanted a basic cleaning and didnt need any work I thought it would be an easy visit. After spending 2 hours of my day (between waiting room/waiting for appointment) find out that all they do for a first visit is a consultation and they would not be giving me a cleaning or anything even though I made an appointment for a cleaning. There are other reviews listing to pay attention to charges as well which I ran into the same issues there. If you want to waste you time and money Aspen is where to go - otherwise look elsewhere.

I love this Dentist office! I never thought I would say that about a dental office after receiving bad service from an old dental office I had gone to years ago. This place here and the staff are AMAZING, caring, understanding, and very sympathetic. I was In so much pain my first visit the tech that took my X-rays didn’t want to because of how much pain I was in. I managed through the X-rays and skipped the cleaning again because of the pain I was in. The staff was very friendly and nice. They explained everything to me and helped me figure out the best plan to get all my dental work done that would fit my budget. Thanks Aspen Dental I cant wait to get my smile back!😁
