Familia Dental

I'm thankful that Familia Dental was helpful and communicative. Their text and email reminders make it easy to communicate with them. I had a dental cleaning and when I found out I needed a filling, they were willing to do it right then or schedule me later that day. In this month in which dental insurances overlap (as I leave mine and go to my wife's), they were able to take both and reduce the cost on the filling accordingly. Even though I had to wait longer than expected for my afternoon appointment, they had a TV in the room and apologized for the delay when arriving. Everyone I interacted with cares and wants the best experience possible for the patients.

Great customer service Dr. Lanke is very professional and compassionate.

These place has the worst customer service, my daughter has an appointment today with the orthodontist but they’d send me a message on January 01 where it says that my daughter has an appointment for January 08 at 4:00 p.m. right after that message they’d send me another message but in that message it says that she has an appointment January 08 at 3:00 p.m. so I called today to know at what time is my daughters appointment but they’d keep me on hold for a long time and while I was waiting in the phone they’d send me a text message where it says that they can’t answer my phone call but they can help me via text message with booking an appointment, reschedule an appointment or bill payments, in those message they also give you a link to fill up your patient registration form before arriving to your appointment which I did twice because they keep sending me the same messages over and over aging these past week, these is so frustrating, the only reason I’m giving these place a 3 star is because the orthodontist is good otherwise my rating would be only 1 star. I’m so glad my daughter is about to finish her treatment so I don’t have to go back to these place ever again.

Updating my review as 06/08/2021 So I skip the last appointment for the removal of my daughter’s braces and I just called to reschedule the appointment to which the operator (after having me on hold for a while to check with the personal in the Midland office for an appointment) said that they don’t have and orthodontist available right now in that office and that they will contact me as soon as an orthodontist is available

Dr nakul and Ana and Claudia are the best doctors, they're very nice and understanding ❤️ the girls are adorable to. I love it when they speak Spanish to me, I recommend them.

No thank you. I canceled my appointment after dealing with the receptionist. Just wow. I scheduled an appointment and I never got any confirmation communication. I get there and they tell me it's going to take a while for them to verify insurance so they won't be able to see me. Why wasn't I called beforehand to submit insurance details so it would be verified in time? They rescheduled me and still did not call to confirm the insurance went through. Very unwelcoming attitude and quick to hang up.

I just started dentistry with Familia but had my kids braces and mine done here and they are great! Reasonable prices and friendly staff, have never had an issue the 2 3 years we have come here!

I come here for my orthodontist and let me tell you, I have had the worst experience by far! This place will scam you! The orthodontist is amazing, she is so sweet. The office and financial branches need to be investigated. I have really good insurance and they keep stating that they are waiting for the claim to get approved. I call my insurance just to confirm and they keep sending claims that are missing information! My insurance keeps asking for me to tell them to call and their response is always, “we don’t speak directly to the insurance.” You would think they would just fix the problem, but no, they just send another claim with different information missing.It is ridiculous at this point and has been going on throughout half of my treatment. I am sick and tired of this. Now that I am almost done with my treatment, they expect me to pay in full before another adjustment after they deferred my payments for months because they weren’t sure what the insurance was going to cover. Not to include the front desk receptionist and manager were also rude and rolling their eyes at me. You have lost family members and friends as potential patients, because they know about my experience. I highly do not recommend!

Dr. Nick and Valerie are the best at what they do!! They are very courteous, and professional. Both of them check on your wellbeing throughout the entire procedure that is being done. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist that made me very nervous and uncomfortable going to the dentist. Thanks to these two I am now no longer uncomfortable going to the dentist and will be returning to them for all my future needs!!

The staff was very friendly I had a 9am appointment. I probably waited in the waiting area 5 minutes. I was taken to the back to wait on the dentist. The dental assistant came immediately asked about my concerns gave me an x-ray. Then the dentist came explained my x-ray to me. I also had a cleaning done the cleaning was not harsh and the dentist did a great job! I'll be back and I highly recommend them for cleanings and dental maintenance.
