Allington Dental

Be prepared for AT LEAST an hour wait just to see the dentist, and if you’re bringing kids in, it’ll end up taking about 2-3 hours. This has been happening non-stop to us for 2 years! The only kind/friendly staff member is Javier and, if you’re lucky, one MAYBE two of the hygienists.
Also, get a second opinion about cavities, fillings, any expensive work… the dentist was wrong about 3 cavities my daughter “has”.

I have taken my children twice in the last month and all staff were exceptional.

During the first visit we had routine cleanings. Lucy, Stephanie and Ricky were all very patient with my children. My little one ended up needing some additional work done. Dr. Gogineni and Carlea were very professional in addressing all issues. Again, they were patient with my children, especially with my little one who was very nervous.

During the second visit, my little one had to come back for additional work. Dr. Gogineni and Carlea were both very patient with him a second time.

During both visits, Patricia, Marlina and Javier were amazing with billing and paperwork. They were very detailed in their explanation of all charges.

Overall, we had a good experience on both occasions and recommend Allington Dental in San Angelo for your pediatric dentistry needs.

Have tried to give them chances but keep having issues. I have encountered the following:

1) Dental surgeon was more than hour late twice.
2) Scheduled to remove stitches, they sit me in chair then say, dentists will be available in a little while….excuse me, a little while. Waiting 30 mins, will see how long it will take.
3) Still waiting on office to call and schedule a deep cleaning…after 6 months and several reminders by me….Do they want my business?
4) It looks like I have been billed twice for “bone buildup” on same tooth….maybe needed, but I am thinking more “Revenue Buildup”.

Finish current procedure and call it done..

We waited 40 minutes for a 2 minutes cleaning. The lady took 30 seconds to brush her teeth and wipe stuff on them. they've had plenty of cleanings before from there and this was by far the worst cleaning I've ever seen. My Daughter could of done a better job at home and not cost $133. never going again

First of all, I want to thank Dr. G. He is just awesome. And all the staff from the front desk to hygienists and assistants are so friendly and helpful. It doesn’t matter how busy it gets, they’re always there for you to listen and communicate. I had the best dentist experience from this place. So glad I found allington dental in San Angelo. Highly recommended!

Dr G and Marah are AMAZING !!! The office staff and the all of the techs have been super sweet.
I was told I needed oral surgery to get a tooth pulled and couldn’t afford it, I called around and got
Ahold of Allington Dental and they not only pulled it there but it was $400 cheaper. I have seen them several times now and I am super happy and so are my teeth and pocket book. They also accept my insurance (in network) !

Not accommodating at all to pregnant people. I’m 7 months pregnant, there for a teeth cleaning, they were going to force me to sign to agree to X-rays even though I’m pregnant. I was told that not getting X-rays while pregnant was a choice, not a standard, and was asked to leave if I refused to sign the form. This demand is absolutely outrageous. Needless to say, I will be calling my insurance to find a different dentist in town who is in network.

my husband came in with a toothache. He was given an ointment sent home and schedule for a cleaning. Dr said there was nothing wrong with his tooth. His toothache never went away. He waited on the chair for a long time Dr finally came in and didn't about 3 minutes with him.
My husband came back for cleaning and was rescheduled.
We schedule an appointment at Dove dental found out his tooth was broken.

From the moment we stepped foot in the office we were greated by the receptionist Patricia and Marlina. both! very professional and sweet made us feel very comfortable. We then went to the back for my son's cleaning all team members were very nice and made my son feel very comfortable because he tends to get nervous at the dentist! Just took my 8 year old daughter here to get a tooth pulled. I was so impressed by how they treated her. They were very attentive and made the whole process smooth and calming for her. Even she was shocked at how great it went and is no longer afraid of the dentist.
