I was amazed at how my emergency dental was handled from first visit, to 2 days later as I had to have 2 infected teeth pulled. The dentist was incredible at easing my high anxiety to 7 minutes later both teeth out and DONE! Seriously, I felt nothing but a little pressure when I thought she was checking to see how loose they were. This was an emergency that flared up literally THANKSGIVING weekend! I definetely need to rate this Dentist and Monarch Dental the highest rating because my experience really was not traumatic at all, like I had anticipated going to a new dentist. My much needed future dental needs are definetly going to be done by her come January!

Tried to charge me $420 when I went in for a teeth cleaning and told me I had gingivitis? Which is the first time I’ve ever been told that and is quite shocking considering I’m 22 years old. My insurance says I get two free teeth cleaning each year for a copay of $5. So left with no clean teeth, $15 out of pocket, and an hour wasted of my time.

Horrible assistanting staff..
The nurses...or dental helpers are absolutely appalling. Snide, snarky and unprofessional are a few other words that could also be used....
What's funny is they seemed all nice... till I halfway through when it came out that I would have to pay either 500 -1300 and I couldn't choose the more expensive one...
Right after that everyone but the dentist got real "cold"...

The Dentist himself, an older man, was great really thoughtful and explainative with his words on what he was gonna do and what could be done.<3

In the end I think id of paid 50$ just to avoid this place and try another....nobody wants to be belittled while they are in pain, especially if that pain is gonna cost them $500+ one way or the other.

I had a morning appointment but someone before had some unforseen issues. This caused the dentist to see me shortly before lunch. He reviewed my x-ray and discussed options. He then asked me if I could come back in the afternoon to proceed so that he could have lunch. I've never had this happen before. Upon arrival, I waited another hour or so before we proceeded. All this would have been fine if I lived in town. However, I live an hour drive away.

I was a new patient. I have only used private practice dentist offices my entire life.
My new insurance steered me to Monarch. I was a little worried I would just be a number on this larger style corporate office settting.
I was very impressed with their professionalism and thorough work up.
I would highly recommend them!

I started going to Monarch Dental on Seminary Drive in Ft. Worth, Tx because of Dr. Nicole Branca. When she was asked to open the Weatherford office I gladly followed her there. Not only is it closer but I have total faith in Dr. Branca. I have had quite a bit of work done but what I like best is she will not do anything unless it is warranted, ex. she told me I am starting to show signs of a crack but no need to do anything yet will probably have to do crown in a couple of years. So this tells me they are not after my money. Also I leave with a hug from her. Alysa does a great job cleaning my teeth and always greets me and is interested in me. The office manager Rachel is one of the sweetest I’ve ever seen. Her interaction with the patients as they arrive and check out is friendly and efficient. The 1st time I went assistant Karen did my X-rays and did a great job. Every other time Bekah has been the assistant and I can truly say she is a joy and is very contentious about her work. When someone wants a dentist recommendation I will always recommend Dr. Nicole Branca and her awesome team at Monarch Weatherford, Texas. Sandy Blue

I have been taking my girls to Dr. B For a while and we love her! She is always so informative and tells my daughters what’s going to happen in a way they will understand and won’t be scared! Between Dr.B and Rachel along with the rest of the staff we will continue to come!

My daughter got braces there about a month ago and they was quick and got us in and out we went in they looked at her mouth said we can put the braces on today if you would like or we can reschedule. Very very nice they let us take a break so my daughter could go eat it was just a very nice place I recommended so much to people trying to get braces and trying not to pay like $5000 my daughters was 3000 and she has to wear them for 18 months and up I mean that's a good deal I think we only pay 138 a month and I don't think it's a lot because my sister she paid like 300 at some other with orthodontist think you should go to Monarch dental

**Update** - After contacting the corporate offices, I received a call back, explained my experience, and waited for a follow up. They called me back a few days later saying that they completely believe that I was not given proper explanations, and that they do not believe this is the first time this office manager had charged people for services they did not want. I was sent a check to cover the costs of services performed without my consent.

First, I need to say that Dr. Branca and the other technicians were great. This review is based on the shady money grabbing office manager who charged/performed treatments I 'specifically' requested not have done. I made it extremely clear that I only wanted the basic cleaning provided by my insurance company, multiple times, even to the extent that they called my insurance company to verify the charges. I also even video/audio recorded them telling me that the cost was only a $5 copay, plus any additional work I had done (which was wrong). Then, after getting x-rays, having my blood pressure checked, and testing my gum health, I was approached (while lying in the chair) with a piece of paper to sign, saying the cleaning would cost $30 (on top of the $5 copay). I asked why this was so high, as my insurance papers show $5 copay + $5 cleaning (numbers my wife sent me while I was sitting in the office while looking at the paperwork), and she said she didn't know, but I could either have the cleaning done, and check the receipt later for discrepancies, or not have the cleaning done. So, I signed. When I got the receipt, $25 of the $30 were for non-cleaning charges (a cancer screening, and a Flouride varnish) that I NEVER asked to be given. Again, I was EXTREMELY clear that all I wanted was the basic cleaning provided by my insurance company. Then, when calling back after looking over the receipt, I asked why they charged me for the extras, especially considering that at the time I specifically asked her why the cost was so much higher than a standard cleaning (which she replied that she didn't know...), and she said "I didn't say the cleaning would cost $30, I said the VISIT would cost $30." - which is an awful, shady way to say "I know you asked for one thing, and we charged you for another, but to be fair, I never said we were charging you for what you asked for..." I honestly don't care very much about $25, it's not a big deal to me. But to others, it might be a big deal. And what is a big deal for everybody is the way this woman twisted her words to validate her reasoning for charging me for additional services. She also said "We don't perform dental work based on your insurance, if you're looking for free dental work, you need to look elsewhere". To be clear, I am NOT looking for free dental work. I pay for my dental insurance. And whether they perform work based on insurance or not, I made it sufficiently clear that I did not want to pay for additional services other than a basic cleaning, so they apparently also don't perform dental work based on what their customer/patient requests. Disgusting practice. And I feel bad for others that are forced into treatments they specifically asked to avoid by this shady office manager. I would rather drive an hour out of my way to not be swindled by a shady company. A shame, too, because I really did like the dental staff.

I am disappointed that I can not wait in my car rather than sit in a waiting room with other people. I have a family member that has health issues and this small accommodations would be so helpful to assure that I have done my best to keep myself and him healthy. Our other health providers have encouraged this.
