I had an old filling fall out and the gums were abscessed and began causing severe pain. I googled a Vancouver dentist that take Medicare and UnitedHealth. I called and they accepted me, and took me in the back for a couple of x rays, gave me medicine to numb the pain. I left with two prescriptions for pain and an antibiotic. It is a very nice office, the staff are very nice and helpful, and the dentist is experiences and knowledgeable. They all made my visit a nice one, I return in one week to consult for a root canal. Rather than lose the tooth the Dr. suggested I lose the tooth and do a root canal, because the tooth is still good but the nerve is no longer viable. To the staff (Megan) and Dr. Steve Thank you very much.

First I want to say that Dr Jenn is a very good and caring cosmetic dentist. I needed 2 different bonded teeth repaired and she went out of her way to fit me into her busy schedule. The ONLY reason I am not giving 5 stars is I had to return a couple of extra times because the bonded teeth made were not a good match color-wise. That said, Dr Jenn wanted the match to be perfect and made sure the new teeth matched. I highly recommend Dr Jenn and her staff.

"This is the dentist you are looking for."

Having been frustrated by the "salesman-more-than-physician" experience of several dentists recently (during my odyssey since my last dentist moved away), New Horizon Dental was recommended to me. I was relieved by the professionalism (and sweet Laura, the hygienist, is the best one I've had yet), and that they LISTENED to me and my concerns. They made recommendations (very good ones), and didn't pressure me into "upsell" services. Goes a long way in building trust, which is imperative for a patient-dentist relationship. (After all -and no offense intended-, no ones loves visiting a dentist... but it's necessary, and SO MUCH BETTER with trust.)

Thanks for keeping my teeth healthy (what this is all about, of course), and making me feel comfortable in your chair.

I've been going to New Horizons Dental for a little over a year and would highly recommend them to anyone. It is the friendliest, most professional Dental office I've ever experienced.
Hillary cleans my teeth and always has a smile on her face. The support staff is the best and the Dr.'s are attentive and caring.
It certainly no wonder why they receive so many awards for Best Dental in Vancouver.

Dr. Steve and Dr. Popador were both great! I have a lot of anxiety with painful procedures, but they wet both great. All of the staff is awesome! Highly recommend them all! My son had never been to the dentist, Dr. Jen was awesome with him, and Heather made it fun for him! Thanks so much! - LaLena

Great first experience! I recently moved cross-country and hadn't found a dentist yet, then I broke a tooth! (with and old silver filling). After a frantic internet search I came up with New Horizons Dental and am so glad I did. Not only were they able to get me in the next morning, but Dr Jenn was one of the most gentle dentists I've ever been to. I left with a temporary crown and felt so much better. I was thrilled with the care I received and will continue to have them care for me and my family.

New Horizons is always great and the entire staff is friendly. In the past I hated getting my teeth cleaned, Since I switched to New Horizons a few years ago, going to the dentist is a totally different experience! They are the best and I highly recommend them. Scott K. Boothby

All good reviews here saying about tooth extraction, but none about serious work done with good results. On my own experience I know this clinic not the way to go. They have very low quality. Spend whole bunch of money here with bad result and I can't trust them to rework. After they get my money they stop being friendly. No any refund was given. Lost here over 10k. This clinic not recommended to anyone, even to my worst enemy.

I have been going to Dr Steve with my family for 25+ years. Very professional and always on point. Excellent care as always. He is practical and thorough and down right personable. Laura the hygienist is awesome.

This experience was terrible. Had it not been for the awesome dental assistant I had, this rating would be a one star. To start, I was charged $30 for an anxiety medication that didn’t work. When I tried to say I wasn’t sure if I felt better or less anxious, they told me I was fine because I seemed tired. Then the laughing gas also didn’t work or ease my anxiety and they proceeded to go through with my extraction anyway. I was shaking and crying the entire time, definitely still so anxious I couldn’t stop myself. The dentist asked for a tool that they use to saw your tooth into pieces if they cannot get it out with their typical tools. I was concerned because he had not spent much time actually trying to get it out with the tools. I’ve had teeth pulled before and never had a dentist even suggest this tool. He proceeded to saw my tooth into pieces to pull it out and when he had finished I learned quickly that he had cut into my gums with the saw. I was upset by the whole experience from the beginning. It has been about three weeks since my extraction and the cut still was not healing properly. Yesterday I notice there was an abrupt and relatively sharp edge the I could feel in my tongue if I rubbed it along the cut that still has not healed. Well, this morning I realized that they had left a piece of my tooth actually in my gums and it had started to embed itself into my gums. On top of the pain I had continued to feel, I had to pull the remainder of the tooth out MYSELF. Not only did i feel that this place is not sensitive to the needs of the patients, I was charged to have a sloppy job done on my mouth. The final thing that set my opinion in stone was the fact that I paid $100 out of pocket and was told that my insurance covered the rest, I just recieved ANOTHER bill for $75 because my insurance in fact, did not cover what they told me. So I have to pay that additional money for the terrible service I received. Would not recommend this place.
