Dentistry at Vickery Creek: John Ananthasane DMD, MS

We love Dr.John and his team! They are doing excellent and very professional job! Always caring, helpful, answering all questions, weird and not so weird, explaining all procedures and the necessity of them, supporting with appointment choosing and never waiting times!
Being clients for over 2 years we remain visiting the Cumming Office even since we have moved to Atlanta and our commute now is over 35 miles. When you find a great doctor you stay!

This review is for when I seen Dr. John back in 2018, but I feel is relevant as I do not feel him and his staff were NOT honest nor ethical for the services they stated I needed. I had just moved to the area and in early 2018 I had first seen Dr. John for an initial exam and cleaning. Prior to seeing Dr. John I had visited a dentist regularly and never had any issues with my teeth nor needed extra cleanings. To my surprise on the first visit they stated I had periodontal disease and needed regular, every three month, cleanings to keep things in check. Initially I thought my prior dentist missed things that Dr. John found and based on the good reviews he had I trusted his assessment. I had seen Dr. John around 5 times in 2018 for the extra cleanings and some filling replacements. These every three month visits and extras they added on were not fully covered by my insurance as most insurance plans only cover every six month cleanings. I ended paying around $800 out of pocket for these additional services. In early 2019 I was becoming skeptical of Dr. John and cancelled all future appointments. I also did not see any other dentist in 2019. In March 2020 I decided to try another dentist. This dentist took the usual xrays and did all the normal checks. Keeping in mind I had not seen a dentist in over a year, this dentist said my teeth and gums were in excellent overall health. Prior to my initial visit they had reviewed all the
services Dr. John had done and were surprised on why I needed all those deep cleanings. Hearing that is why I took the time to write this review so others that may want to see Dr. John don't get taken advantage of for extra service they do not need. As I stated in the beginning of this review I feel Dr. John and his staff are NOT very honest nor ethical. There only looking to get every dollar they can out of you.

Once again, Dr. John and his staff are always on top of their game. Professionalism and expertise are their best attributes. When it comes to caring for their customers they always excel my expectations. Dr. John goes out of his to make his treatment understandable, professional and perfectly suited for the need of the customer which is what keeps me going there even though I live an hour away. I have lots of respect and admiration for Dr. John and his
crew. I would recommend Dentistry at Vickery Creek to anyone at any time.

I highly recommend this office. Dr. John and his staff have gone above and beyond in serving our family. We have had two children with accidentally-caused dental trauma and Dr. John has personally gotten involved to advise and resolve both emergency and cosmetic issues. We are fortunate to have such a caring professional for our dental needs.

I've been a happy patient for 15 years with Dr. John at Dentistry at Vickery Creek. I moved to California in 2016 & return to ATL in 2018. I use Dr. John again and drive an extra 30 minutes to do so. He is professional & personable. The staff is consistently friendly & professionals as well. They have earned my trust & loyalty. Proud to support!!

I highly recommend Dr. John's office. I have a mild form of dental phobia. Dr. John and his staff have been very understanding of this condition and have made every visit as comfortable as possible. Dr. John's medical expertise is excellent and he is very thorough. Dr. John and his staff give each patient a welcoming feeling. They listen to their patients and are proactive. I've never had difficulties getting appointments in a timely manner and the waiting times have always been short to none. My children like going to Dr. Johns office. They have never complained about going to the dentist and always come out with a smile. The office looks new, clean, and modern.

My family and i have been with Dr. John for many years. He is the only dentist we trust with all of our dental needs. His work ethic and servies are highly attentive and personal. His staff are all fully trained and deliver top quality services. I always recommend Dr. John to people i know searching for a trustworthy dentist. Even though he is not part of any network, he always works with you financially and the amount of money you pay always equates with the quality you get.

Dr. John and his staff are AMAZING always! When my son had a dental emergency and needed his front tooth rebuilt, they worked us in with short notice! My 13 year old son was extremely happy that he didn’t have to return to school looking like a prize fighter! Dr. John was very patient with him, as he was anxious. The staff and Dr. John looked at photos of his tooth to get everything just right! My son loves his new tooth and says sometimes he forgets it isn’t the real one! The new tooth has even held up to trumpet playing! Thank you again Dr. John and staff for helping us through our dental emergency!

Dr. John and the entire staff at Dentistry at Vickery Creek are so wonderful! I've sampled my fair share of dentists and Dr. John really cares about his patients. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I'm always referring friends and family members to switch to Dr. John. June, Chelsea, Brittany, Ashley and the others always have a smile on their face. Going to the dentist can be stressful, but the folks at Vickery Creek made the experience easy. They worked hard to make my visit as pleasant possible and they were always mindful of my time. Dr. John does great work. This is a great team and I highly recommend them.
