I wanted to leave a review to express my frustration..
My entire family used same Dentist, at Smile Designers. He retired while I was living out of the area. When I learned this my mom gave me the number to where she was now going. When I called I was told because I was a "New Patient" I would need to wait 6 months to be seen.
When I explained this to my mom she said that didn't make sense because I wasn't a new patient since they took over Mark Reynolds patients when he retired.
Once the 6 month mark arrived i was told they had no record of my appointment.
Beyond frustrating. I decided not to use my real name in this review

After breaking a little part of my tooth earlier this week, I called the Augusta office of Gentle Family Dentistry and received an appointment on the same day. My tooth needed very little work to make it okay again and I was in and out in a very short time. I felt safe and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and supportive and in addition there was no charge for the great care I received. Made my day! Thank you again!

My first visit. I was very impressed with their professionalism and care. Sierra was thorough and gentle as she did the exam and cleaning. Dr Sul was courteous, friendly and explained what needed to be done in a way I could understand. I needed to make a change in my appointment time and they found a way to accommodate my request. I highly recommend Gentle Family Dentistry.

My experience at Gentle Family Dentistry was absolutely amazing. I am a 60 year old women who has been trying fix her teeth over the past couple of years.
On Monday I had two temporary crowns put on and on Wednesday one broke off tooth and all. I was panicked because I had an engagement where I couldn't be seen witout a toorh. I called and explained the situation and they moved mountains to get me help.
The two front office girls, Jenny and Monica were amazing, as always. They were able to manipulate the schedue not once but twice to accommodate my situation. Not an easy task.
Okay, but the real rockstars of the day are Mr. Kevin, Ms. Lexi and Ms. Katherine. These individuals went above beyond. They could have said we can't save the tooth and steered me to an implant, that would have taken months; not in time for my presentation. Instead they walk me through a difficult process, held my hand and reassured me the whole time. True professionals.
If anyone wants a positive, professional dential experience GENTLE FAMILY DENTISTRY in Augusta, Maine is the place.
