Floss Dental of Houston Midtown

I have gone to Floss - Midtown for 5 years and wanted to leave a review a long time ago but never did. Well today is the day I finally took the time to do it because they continue to outdo theirselves. It is by far the best dentist office ever!

I completed my Invisalign there two years ago and the doctors and staff were so amazing throughout the whole process. They were very attentive with my initial questions and spent extra time to make sure my expectations were being met throughout the process. The final outcome was exactly what they promised. You need to follow their instructions and do your part as well though. However, the staff are very good at explaining and setting exceptions for you. They are not there just to take your money; they care about you.

Near the end of my initial tray schedule my teeth were not where they expected them to be so they rescanned me and gave me 12 more at no additional costs. They do this because they care and want you to be happy. I am 100% happy with my Invisalign outcome.

I went in today for a cleaning and was told they had a new device. The hygienist, Jade, explained how the new device worked in detail before she started my cleaning. This isn’t something you get from other offices. Other places I have gone to come in and work with no explanation or care. Even with a few staff changes over the years the new staff are always as friendly as the previous ones. They hire only the best!

The new device for teeth cleaning is great. Gone are the days where they scrape your teeth with a metal pick. It’s basically air brushed clean now. So much more comfortable than before.

Oh, and the last thing, minor as it is… I love they provide you with sun glasses to wear during any procedure. This helps dim the bright lights you’re looking up to and also prevents stuff from splashing in your eyes. This little detail is something so thoughtful and shows how much they care about your experience.

We would like to take a moment and thank floss! for the wonderful company they are, they seen us within a day of the call and did two bonds for my son, making him smile which he had stopped doing after cracking his tooth, a very friendly family environment and very professional! Dr Tran n his staff are amazing. They treat you so great n do tremendous dental work. I would recommend that if you need dental work to go there. They will have you with smile that's amazing. 5 🌟

front desk staff was nice and the office was modern. i had to come to Floss due to insurance changes, and wow it was the worst experience ever. the dentist was cold and the hygienist was so rough on my mouth when he was flossing— it felt like he was using all of his strength to wedge the floss in my gums. they spent a whole 15 minutes putting a mirror in my mouth and taking pictures of my teeth and i was only in there for a cleaning (this was just generally a very uncomfortable experience). a huge bummer because i look forward to having my teeth cleaned twice a year. needless to say, i found a way to switch insurance plans so i wouldn’t have to come back here. there are a ton of great, non-corporate practices in houston that have a lot more to offer in my opinion

Wisdom tooth surgery isn’t fun or pleasant. But they took great care of me at Floss. David was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Dang was also great and available with tips to help me manage the pain.

Had such an amazing experience, everyone was so nice from the start, great customer service. 100% recommend. I got a cleaning today, and they made me feel super safe and comfortable during the whole process. The pricing was super comfortable for me as well. Glad I decided to come here. I LOVE IT!

I've had good experiences before, but never have I had an amazing experience at the dentist. I feel like I've learned more about my oral health in one visit than I did in all my previous years at the dentist. They showed me photos, answered my questions in terms that I would understand, and offered very affordable treatment plans. I definitely feel that this office is more understanding about insurance than other offices and could provide patients with payment alternatives. I don't plan to go anywhere else.

The MidTown FLOSS team and facility are great. Friendly, caring and knowledgeable team using the latest dental care technology. I recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

Big shout out to Joe, the teeth Master in the back, he has taken care of me since day 1 of my teeth transformation to permanent implants, which he watched as they were installed today by the wonderful girl who has done so much work on me to make it all work out great!!

Hands down the best dental practice I’ve been to! Dr. Tran took the time to patiently explain to me what he was doing and why. He did the same for both my mom and a friend of mine who also went to FLOSS Midtown on my recommendation. They both remarked to me that no other dentist took the time to share dental knowledge in such an easy and accessible manner.

There is a tremendous attention to detail in both the modern interior design of the dental practice as well as in the treatment options Dr. Tran walks you through. This made a lot more sense once I realized that he has an MBA background as well as residency training! The huge 4k TVs on the ceilings and walls really makes time spent in the chair pass by.

Cool points:
1. Free teeth whitening with dental cleaning.
2. The 3D mapping thing they did to make custom occlusal guards (I grind my teeth at night due to the stress from medical school ask no more). I think it was 3D printed too which is really freaking cool to me since I’m a tech geek. I really like that they have state of the art equipment here.
3. It’s right across the street from Les Givral’s so I sneak over there after my appointment for some dope Vietnamese food.

Never thought I would say this, but I can’t wait for my next dental cleaning and teeth whitening! They really make me feel like family here.
