The worst customer service on the phone. They kept texting me when i called them they want me to come in to check my insurance, I’m busy i can’t, she said well bye!!! What is that a customer service, and she said her assistant needs 1hour to check insurance, it takes 5 minutes to do it . But anyway was a waste of time and i don’t recommend it they’re a lot of great dentists out there. Bye

Just had a new patient visit there and I am IMPRESSED! Everyone at the office was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The assistants, hygienist, doctor, and everyone at the front were all lovely and offer a great patient experience! I’ll definitely be a returning patient. :)

I was flying into Dallas to speak at an event and while chewing on some airline pretzels CRACK! My molar falls into my hand!
I was in shock! So I message my wife and she starts to look for a dentist and she finds Canyon Creek Family Dentistry. My flight lands at 4PM and I call them and let them know my situation they tell me, "We were planning to close early today, but if you come in we'll see you."

I jump in the Uber and head right over. I get in with all my luggage and they look at my molar and let me know the bad news that I'll have to lose it. And they also find some fillings the need repair. I tell them my situation that I have to speak the next day so I'm only in town for two more days.

They tell me not a problem, do what you need to do and come back in the afternoon. So I speak on stage and then head over the dentist and they do their magic. Hook me up with my prescriptions and I hang out in the hotel for the rest of my trip.

They took care of me in a pinch! They were amazing and I'll never forget the service they provided and for taking good care of me! Thanks!

Absolutely incompetent dentist. Worst experience of my life. I have been going to Canyon Creek Family Dentistry for 2 years and thought it was fine. I had a little spot on the front of my gums that I asked them about and they told me it was an overactive spit gland, nothing to worry about. I moved recently and had to find a new dentist. Upon that visit, I was informed that little spot was in fact a serious infection and I needed a root canal right away. I went to 1 other dentist and an endodentist to confirm since Canyon Creek told me it was not a problem. All three other professionals agreed that yes, it is a very serious infection and that no, you do not even have spit glands located in the front of your gums. A quick google search could have told me the seriousness of this issue more than the dentist at Canyon Creek. At this point I am now at risk of losing a tooth thanks to the utter incompetence of Canyon Creek Family Dentistry.

I went to the Canyon Creek Family Dentistry just because my school has an arrangement with them for free dental screenings. I simply wanted a check up however I will not be going there again and do not recommend to anyone due to the following red flags I've seen in this place:

1. I requested an appointment online and Helia texted me asking when to schedule and for what. Even though I told her I DO NOT want a cleaning when I got in I was immediately given a cleaning.
2. The dentist, Adrian De Vincenzo, DMD came in and told me I urgently needed a root canal and a crown for a decay that is in the front tooth and a lot of fillings for the back teeth and told me we needed to start immediately. He did not spend even 2 mins with me and left before I could even ask my questions. He never gave a reason why he considers a crown instead of a filling, never talked about my other options. Instead he immediately sent in the money person (office manager). For the record, I have been living with that particular tooth decay for 13 years now and it did not even reach the nerve area within the tooth. But I was immediately offered a root canal.
3. Afsaneh, the office manager was also pushy just like the doctor, she asked me if I would like to get started right away. I said "No!". She especially became very comical when I told her that I will probably go to my home country and get all these done for a very decent price and by a more experienced dentist: She went to such lengths to even insult my home country claiming that the technological advancement here is superb and I would not be able to find any of it in my home country so it would be better if I'd get treated and make use of my great insurance here. I demanded a copy of the price list they prepared for me and wanted to leave.
4. The receptionist advised me to get a fluoride treatment for an additional price and I told her "I DO NOT want it." Without asking me she set up and appointment for the next cleaning and I told her that I DO NOT want an appointment. But she already set it up and I have been receiving an email and a text as a reminder for a cleaning.
5. They do charge you $25 if you are late or miss the appointment. They charge you $50 if you ask for your X-rays.

Seeing all these red flags, I DO NOT trust this place one bit, it seems that they go to such lengths to get as much money as possible out of you or your insurance.

Almost stopped going because I had a couple of poor experiences with an hygienist. How ever I reported my concern and they seam to have addressed it. The last 2 visit were with 2 different hygienist who were both very gentle and caring. The Dr. is also very professional and only has had good advice for me so far.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is horrible! I went in to be examined because I had a tooth ache. They didn't know the cause of it, but still adviced that I get it pulled. I asked for pain meds, and they told me they wouldn't give me any pain pills until they start work on my mouth. Meaning, they sent me home for like a week or so with pain and had no remorse about it. Aside from that, they gave me a $13,000 treatment case. It was ridiculous. This visit was a total waste of time and money.

This place is horrible. I'm a truck driver with gum disease, I have an infection, so where I have a painful knot that appeared on my bottom jaw. That's so painful, this office is located in Richardson,Tx, I'm currently in NE, headed to KS. I called to see if I can get some antibiotics, until I can get to Texas, and was told by the receipion no. I need to come in. I need 20 thousand dollars of work done. If they don't care bout they patient been in pain, I will care my money some where elsewhere.

SCAMMED - I have been going to this dentist for 7 years. Recently I went to get my teeth cleaned and they said I needed a deep cleaning when all I needed was a regular cleaning. They were like car sales people trying to get my money. The staff is all new. They also said that my new dental insurance was in their network, well it was is NOT.

Here is what I was charged:

$35 fee from 2 years ago (I do not know what this was for) scammed again
$140 fee for getting only half my teeth cleaned
$420 bill in the mail because my insurance did not cover it.

Total - $595 for getting half my teeth cleaned.
