I am a person who lost her natural teeth due to a genetic defect that decays my families teeth from the inside out. I currently have a set of dentures that are off by quite a bit of distance, way too much gum line showing, and I really can’t even eat with them in my mouth. Doctor and all of his staff made me feel like family and assured me, I will have a new pair of dentures that will fit my needs!!! I’m so excited to begin the process and his staff assured me he is VERY meticulous (which is why so many visits before they are ever sent to the lab to be made. I hope they will use before and after pictures!! I have never relished going to the dentist. I look forward to regular visits to maintain my gum health. I have told everyone I know to give this office a chance. Every patient I observed leaving was smiling and satisfied. One pediatric patient was so relaxed he took a little nap in their waiting area!!! I sure wish I could have taken my children to this clinic !!!

I’m 57-years old and have extreme dental anxiety due to my childhood experiences with dentists. From my very first visit, in 2015, Dr. Gaunt and the wonderful ladies at Downriver Smiles have treated me fabulous. Having the Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) helps with the anxiety, but having a Dentist who is kind, caring and has a gentle way of treating me has made a huge improvement in my anxiety. I was even able to get through my appointment today without the Nitrous – a VERY big step for me. The ladies in the office, Dental Assistant, Desiree’, Office Manager, Vikki, Financial Coordinator, Sinead, are all very professional and a lot of fun too! I really appreciate the way Dr. Gaunt and all the ladies understand my sense of humor (especially while under the influence of Nitrous) and hope they will be around for many years.
