The staff at Hawaii Family Dental Centers treated my mother with the best care! She was very scared and anxious about her visit as her previous dentist was not very caring and comforting. The entire staff made her feel comfortable and explained what was happening which made her feel better. They were very gentle and reassuring. She left feeling great about her visit and had a big smile on her face!

Dr. Lau did my crown and he did a really good job. I was worried because it was a little sore on the first installation but the 2nd installation on the crown went super smooth and the pain went away. Honolulu Location is hard to find but I'm pretty happy with them.

Remarkable, personable staff from the time you walk through the door until the time you leave the office. I am very happy with Dr. Bono’s professional skills as my dentist! She is very thorough and is always willing to answer any of my questions. She doesn’t hesitate to refer me to other specialists if I need work done in their field of specialty such as having a root canal done or suggesting an oral surgeon to consult for a possible future implant I need.
My main concern is affording cost effective work I need done and I’m happy with Dr Bono’s office assistant Evie and others that gives me a detailed description of what my insurance covers and what is my up front cost going to be. I am able to make informed choices on whether I can do future procedures or not based on this.

Dr. Mitsunaga was a life saver. I was in Honolulu on vacation and one of my teeth broke. I called Hawaii Family Dental and the got me in the next day where I met Dr.Mitsunaga. He was super nice, explained all of my options, and repaired my tooth painlessly. I wish I could fly there twice a year for my regular dentist appointments. Thank you!

Fast-food of dental procedures. Paid over $20.0 for a simple X-ray of two teeth only, which cost me less than $5.0 elsewhere and have to wait two weeks to have it emailed to me. Hope other people have a better experience.

Dr. Abraham and Dr, Choy were great. They were honest, caring, understanding towards my needs. Their assistants were very professional and very caring. Though things did not go as we had planned they assured me we will get that plan done. Their confidence in doing their work is refreshing. It is hard to find people who will go so far out of their way to help the patient be successful in their journey to better dental health. May God bless them greatly. Amen.

Went to Hawaii Family Dental for a first time appointment today. The office looks clean and all the staff are friendly and professional. After some x-rays, I finally got to meet the dentist “Dr. Alexander Hall”. He has vey very poor bedside manners. Very cold. Gets really annoyed when I ask him about the condition of my teeth. Doesn’t want to explain the dental procedure he recommended for me. When I told him I’m a little scare of the procedure, he change his recommendations 180 and referred me to another dentist and quickly left. This is all in less than 5 mins of interaction. His short temper, uncaring attitude, lack of willingness to explain procedures he recommended, and willingness to quickly abandon patients, makes me question what’s his motive for becoming a health care professional. Are patients really just dollar signs for him? Or did he simply skipped out on the bedside manner part of his education? Whatever the case I highly recommend to avoid him if u go to this clinic.
