Bright Side Dental - Southfield

I was looking for a dentist who would be willing to remove my remaining teeth, add implants, and have dentures made for me. I found those dentists at Bright Side Dental in Southfield, MI. The day I walked in cold to ask my questions, I was given consultation by Dr. Roy Elturk and Dr. Bhavisha Patel who listened to my request and offered what I wanted rather than trying to talk me into another approach. All the employees I met at this facility were very friendly and professional.

I want to write my review regarding the day of my oral surgery. I was treated by Dr. Patel, dentist, Nichole, assistant, and treatment coordinator, Lexie. Although my appointment was a big deal, Dr. Patel and Nichole keep the mood light and my experience a very positive event. They even let me select the music genre/artists I wanted to hear.

The appointment lasted for 9 continuous hours and I thought that was another positive because time was taken to ensure my extractions and implants were done correctly. They took CT Scans at three separate times to ensure the progress was going best as possible. Dr. Elturk participated in discussing each implant location, angle, and depth. The torques were 35 Newton-Meters which was said to be a solid implant. Bone and membranes were placed and stitched at each extraction location.

I know this was supposed to be a strictly professional setting, but I felt like I was with friends.

I'm writing this review the day after my surgery and I have no bleeding and no pain. I don't remember the extraction count, but I think there were 11 on top, 9 on the bottom, and 7 implants.

My dentures were ready on the day of surgery, but I was asked to wait three weeks for healing before texting the fit of the dentures.

I'm pain free and happy now.

I got my bridges done here they are so professional friendly and detailed. My fiance also got a deep clean an two teeth pulled. The staff was excellent an the work was very reliable. We were even given 2 Phillips electric toothbrushes for free. I'd suggest them to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Ok great dentist office! I haven’t been to the dentist in 8 years, I needed a tooth extracted. During this pandemic, Bright Side was very thoughtful of patients’ well being (having us wait in the car instead of the lobby, filing out paper work electronically, etc) I felt very safe and the actual procedure was painless and quick. Dr. Patel really made sure I was comfortable lol even when I showed my wuss side. Lexie and Cortney (treatment coordinator and assistant) were amazing all the way from insurance billing to reassuring me during the procedure to prescription filling and advice. I just recommended the family and she’s my designated dentist now for sure.

I really enjoyed my experience at Bright Side Dental! I decided to switch my previous dental office, which I went to for 15 years, after hearing fantastic things about Bright Side Dental. When I first went for my cleaning I was very impressed with how clean the office was, and how friendly the front desk women were. I loved the fact that I was able to listen to Pandora during my cleaning to help get my mind off the scratching of my teeth. Dr. Elturk was great and very honest about what was important for me to fix now and what could wait. I highly recommend you check them out if you have not already!!

I have had many procedures done here, including wisdom teeth removal, cleaning, root canals, etc with Dr. Elturk. All procedures have been really comfortable. I also like that the staff is helpful and caring. And the practice has been very flexible with my schedule and has managed to squeeze me in for emergencies. Couldn't recommend this place more!

Dr. Elturk, Nicole, and Lexie, were AMAZING! Dr. Elturk was patient, kind and explained every procedure. Nicole was accommodating and did a fantastic job helping me feel more relaxed. Lexie was knowledgable and helped me understand the financial side of things. This review is coming from someone who is extremely anxious when it comes to dentist appointments - I recommend the phenomenal team at Bright Side Dental in Southfield! My search for a supportive/understanding dentist is finally over - Thank you so much!

Dr. Elturk is the best dentist I've ever had: knowledgeable, professional and super nice. I never experienced pain during a root canal or filling replacement.

I have only been at the Southfield office, and everyone there is professional and friendly.

I've been going to Bright Side Dental for about five years now, and will never go anywhere else! As soon as you walk into the office, everyone is all smiles and happy to help. I have never waited more than a few minutes from the time I check in to the time I am taken back. Jessica was my hygienist, and she was amazing! She is very personable. She has a way about cleaning your teeth that is so gentle but effective. It was the best cleaning I have ever had. I usually wait to schedule my next cleaning, but I made sure to do it during check out because I want her to clean my teeth forever. I made the joke that "I could lay in this chair all day and get my teeth cleaned", but it was true! Jessica, thank you for the most relaxing cleaning I have ever had. I could really tell a difference after. To anyone who is looking for a recommendation, I highly recommend this location. I can tell that every employee truly loves what they do. If I could give you 100 stars I would!

Awesome Staff from the first encounter I requested a call to schedule appointment I was called back very quickly by the appointment setter very friendly and knowledgeable. Once I arrived at my appointment I was greeted right away. The Staff was helpful friendly and professional. My first time there they were very thorough with the exams and x-rays. Deidre and Ashley and Dr. Elturk were excellent very personable compassionate accommodating and professional. AMAZING STAFF!

I really enjoy going to this dentist! The environment is very clean and there is a lot of space to walk. The dentists there are very friendly and speak to you more as a close friend rather than another patient! They are very informative and try their best to answer your questions as thoroughly as they can. Dr. Friedman put on my braces and Dr. Elturk pulled out four of my teeth and both were extremely professional, kind, and made sure I was comfortable. Their assistants were also very professional and knew what they were doing and did not need much instruction. Overall, I had a great experience at this dentist office and I recommend this dentist office to everyone in the area!
