Bright Side Dental - Southfield

My school-aged son has sensory struggles and negative experiences in the past with a dentist. Dr. Elturk was able to calm him and get ALL work completed. Not having to wait 4 months for an appointment was imperative- we were scheduled for the same week! The patience and compassion were incredible, and assistant Nichole was really helpful in keeping the moment light hearted despite tension from my son's fears. Insurance challenges also presented but the office was incredibly helpful and understanding and we still received the necessary care without delays.

Dr. Elturk, Nichole, and Jess were all very welcoming and kind. We were seen quickly and my daughter's teeth extraction was easy and relatively pain free (considering).

I have never encountered a dental office that was more caring and thorough than Bright Side Dental of Southfield.
I had previously visited the Bright Side Dental location in Sterling Heights on Good Friday, in an emergency dental situation. My back molar crown had fallen off and I needed it fixed. I went to Sterling Heights because they had availability and the doctor there that I encountered was quite short and rude with a potential treatment plan for my tooth. Because at the time I was unsure wether I’d be able to afford to save this tooth. They never had anyone talk to me about financing options. She had a tech temporarily cement it back on until I could get into someone else to get it fixed as I no longer trusted this doctor.
Fast forward to my appointment at the Southfield location. From my initial panicked phone call (because I ended up swallowing the molar crown that Sterling Heights had glued on😑 and thought it had become infected) to my first appointment with Dr Hall, his assistant Shamari and the treatment coordinator Lexie.
Shamari was so relatable, kind and patient, Dr Hall did a thorough exam of the area and gave a factual and honest opinion regarding my situation. Lexie came through with some solid payment options for my treatment plan and ultimately I trusted Dr Hall to save my tooth.
I went back today to get my final crown and it’s beautiful. The crown feels so natural and is by far the best I’ve gotten. I was beyond impressed with the thoroughness of placement, they made extra sure it was as perfect as could be.
I wish I could give this location all the stars ⭐️

Dr. Patel, Nicole, and Lexie, were the best dental team ever! Dr. Patel has an amazing dental side manner. She was calming, informative, and kept me aware of her progress in the process. Nicole was helpful, accommodating and did a fantastic job on my temporary bridge. Lexie was responsive and helpful in helping me navigate the financing for my bridge. Hopefully, you never need to sit in the dentist's chair for 2.5 hours for restorative services, but if you find yourself in this situation; THIS IS THE BEST TEAM TO HAVE. I had a wonderful experience at Brightside Dental. Needed my first cavities removed in 50 years! I was nervous, but Dr. Elturk, and his assistant Nichole were so professional. Quick and totally painless. I definitely recommend Dr. Elturk for anyone who may be needing dental attention, but hesitant. He will put your mind at ease and take care of your dental needs like a pro. Thanks Brightside!!

I went to this office because I needed a teeth cleaning, I didn't have insurance, and I wanted to speak to an orthodontist in the same visit. My previous dentist had a long wait list and no ortho, so I thought this was a good option. When I went in, the staff was friendly, and the cleaning was good, but my experience went down when the Dentist came in. Almost instantly she said I had three cavities. I was surprised because I've never had cavities in the past or felt any signs of a cavity. She did not show me the x-rays, just a picture of my teeth, so pointing out cavities seemed a little odd. She pressured me to schedule a filling appointment right away, regardless of my hesitation. I also asked about the Orthodontist in the office, and she said they are only in on a certain day of the week. I was disappointed because I told the staff when scheduling my appointment that seeing the orthodontist was important to me. I called my old dentist and he suggested I come back in 6 months to see him for a cleaning and he would then take a look. Lo and behold, no cavities to be found. He walked through the x-rays with my to confirm there was none. He told me that many patients go to these Bright Side dentals and are told they have cavities when they do not, so always get a second option if you can. If it weren't for the Dentist quickly telling me I have cavities with no explanation or showing confirmation, or the orthodontist not being there when I requested, I would have been happy with the experience and cleaning.

DR. Hall was EXTREMLEY helpful, very caring , and very gentle with the way he examined my wisdom tooth. He made me feel so comfortable and so welcomed ! His only concern was to help me feel better and feel comfortable and not scared at the time of the procedure. I thank Bright Side Dental for hiring such amazing staff ! Lexie a staff member there was very very helpful as well and gave me all the instructions I needed and made me feel very comfortable as well. If you are looking to find a new dentist for yourself or for your family Bright Side Dental in Southfield is the best option in town ! Not only will they give you the best experience but they will treat you like family and i guarantee you wont leave without feeling the same way as i did ! Thank You Bright Side Dental staff :)

The staff was very polite and friendly. They took there time and I can say was the most fastest tooth pulling ever.

I tried two other dentists office before Bright Side dental and had a really bad experience. Today is my first time ever coming to Bright Side Dental. I hate the dentist so bad I get anxiety just knowing I'm about to get any dental work done. Nichole is extremely caring and patience! Nichole went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Nichole and I shared conversation to where I didn't feel any anxiety she is so amazing with positive energy Thank you!!! Dr. Elturk the only thing I can say is wow......I never felt any pain it really is painless! Dr. Elturk explained everything to me and showed me the xrays so I would have a better understanding of the procedure Thank you! This is my new dentist no more searching! I appreciate good energy amazing customer service from the time you walk in the door and leave out. I definitely will refer others to BRIGHT SIDE DENTAL!

The team that provided my care did and excellent job. As one who has a long standing fear of going to the Dentist due to very bad past experiences, their warmth and empathy put me completely at ease. Jessica and Dr. Hall were great in their care and procedures. Explaining thoroughly what to expect. I highly recommend Bright Side Dental, at least the Southfield location!!
