Bright Side Dental - Southfield

I began having excruciating tooth pain last night to the point I almost went to the E.R. Instead I toughed it out, called Brightstar in Southfield at 10am, they got me in by 11am, I had x-rays, assessment and a tooth extraction done by 1245pm. Prescriptions filled and now I’m resting comfortably at home at 1:30... Talk about fast service! Not only were they quick....but Dr.Patel and the assistants were so nice, comforting and made sure I didn’t feel any pain. Pricing was good as well! I walked out feeling 200% better. If my face weren’t so numb...I’d be grinning from ear to ear! Thank you Dr.Patel and staff for taking care of me! Definitely found my new dental home!

Dr. Elturk and staff are very kind and courteous. I instantly felt comfortable. Dr. Elturk take time to Thoroughly go through your dental procedure with you, he make sure your comfortable and understand the procedures before he starts.

The office environment and staff are impeccable! The offices are clean and sanitized. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Dr. Elturk and his assistant Ashley are Rockstars, I was in for an emergency extraction and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience, This will be the 4th time I've been to the office and this is the only place I'll ever use. If you need dental work this is the place to use. Thank you Dr. Elturk and Ashley.

I recently had two extractions done here. I was a nervous wreck! But I must say that the staff, Dr. Hwang in particular made this experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible! The staff allowed me to select music; this may seem like a small gesture, but believe me it helped! Also, Dr. John Hwang allowed me the time I needed to freak out and gather myself. Once I got over my nerves and allowed the Doctor to numb me ( I have a fear of needles!) I barley felt anything. He was so gentle that I almost felt silly for my previous fit of anxiety. Overall the experience was very pleasant and I would 100% recommend Bright Side Dental to ANYONE. I’ve been to other offices that were not nearly as pleasant, in fact I’ve had a DDS tell me that if I didn’t get over my fear quick enough he would gladly return to his coffee break and not miss a penny and that I needed not to make so much noise( as I grunted in pain)! Clearly the complete opposite of my recent experience with Bright Side. With this being said: My Family and I are loyal patients of Bright Side from here on!

I had a root canal that I needed taken care of. I called on 7/16/18 and was seen same day got my exam and given an action plan. Sad thing is I’ve been going to a dentist every six months and I was informed of 6 other blatant cavities and need to get my wisdom teeth pulled. When i say I am/ was so irritated. But the proioroty was the root canal my previous experience was horrific. Dr. Whang was so gentle and patient he and Daniel stayed well after closing. Ensured I received my temporary crown and the office manager Jessica was so flexible with me. Bright Side Dental has a forever client with many referrals. Next day after root canal and no pain 🙌🏽🙌🏽💃🏽💃🏽

I’ve gone to this location multiple throughout the last few years for simple routine cleanings and a couple of fill-ins and each visit has always been very pleasant. Yesterday I went in and I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. Needless to say, I was nervous, scared even. Both Dr. Mangal and Dr. Elturk along with their assistants Ben and Katelyn were beyond patient. Any question I had, was answered. They listened and allowed me a break when I became too tenses/stressed. The overall environment and interaction made the process emotionally better. Both doctors were gentle and explained each step before they did anything new/different. The interactions between the four of them also helped to lighten the mood. The billing department was also very pleasant and ensuring I undwestood what my insurance covered and making sure i was able to utilize it to it’s full extent, costing me as least as possible out of pocket. Over the years I have yet to find a complaint with Bright Side, and I am very pleased with each visit.

My family and I have been patients at Bright Side Dental in Southfield for years. We always have exceptional experiences there, from cleanings, to major dental work. Jessica is THE best hygienist! Dr. Elturck is super practical, explains everything that needs to happen, and makes everything as pain free as possible. I also notice that during exams and treatments, he is using every step as a teachable moment for his staff, which is probably a big part of why this office runs so seamlessly. Today, I started my day with a chipped filling. It's the day before a holiday weekend, and the office was slammed. Of course, they squeezed me in. Dr. Elturck, along with his assistants, Katrina and Cortney, got me in and out in no time, with no pain! Jessica, the office manager, came in and talked about the cost of everything, before treatment began. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

I've been a patient for 3 years, and now my kids and wife also go to see Dr. Elturk. We all enjoy the staff, service is fantastic and they are so patient with my kids!

Two things I remember very specifically about my experience with Dr. Elturk.

FIRST, I called him in a panic over some staining on my teeth, I wasn't sure what was wrong. They got me in the same day, did a thorough cleaning and removed the stains I feared were permanent!

SECOND, was some fear over very sensitive and painful spots on my teeth during cleanings. The hygienist offered this numbing rub which blocked ALL the pain during the cleaning.

Couldn't say enough great things about this group of people.

The service at this place was amazing! I broke a crown and called them. they got me seen with in hours. Everyone was polite and courteous. I don't recall everyone's name but I do remember True. She was very cheery and fun to talk with. She even helped me save some money on the work. Dr. Elturk was also very personable and made me feel comfortable. I will be making this place my new place for dental care.

I had a good experience at Brightside dental in Southfield. They have a very good staff there. Dr. Elturk is very good at what he does. I was very nervous because I had to get some teeth pulled But Ben the Assistant was very good he made me feel comfortable. Very friendly staff.
