After hearing great things about this place I made an appointment for "Cleaning and check up exam" as said on their site when booking. When they followed up they gave me times for the appointment but let me know that a cleaning is at the dentist discretion based off oral health. This seemed fair as very unhealthy teeth might require more work than time allows.

I requested an appointment where if my teeth were found in good shape I could have the cleaning in the same appointment, as I don't have much time to go multiple times and needed it done soon.

I get there, the dentist finds that I should maybe get some minor realignment, but my teeth were fine otherwise. I then expected a cleaning. They said they would not provide any cleaning and I would need to make another appointment for it; what I was trying to avoid. The receptionist said a cleaning is at the dentist discretion depending on oral health. I asked since it seemed my oral health was good, why the dentist still decided not to give me a cleaning. The receptionist had no answer, but that is just what the dentist decided. Keep in mind all I wanted was a cleaning. I didn't even have interest in a check up, but thought it was required before the cleaning by them coupling the services on their online booking. So I left without the one service I was going to the dentist in the first place. I have never experienced this at any other dental practice.

From the reviews and the fact getting an appointment seems very difficult, I assume this place provides great service. However, to not provide the cleaning part of an "Cleaning and check up exam" without reason (just didn't feel like it I guess) is unacceptable to me. I rather give my business to a place which follows through on the services I requested when making my appointment.

Maybe I just got unlucky and hopefully other people have the same great experience others who wrote a review had, but I am taking my business elsewhere.

I used to have a terrible fear of dentists. I never feel afraid or uncomfortable at Forest Family Dentistry. They are wonderful, caring and thoughtful about little details, give estimates and are always pleasant. I got worked in for a crown that came off, and they treated me as well as if I had made my appointment weeks ago.

The hygenists are superb. Every time I go in for a cleaning, I feel like I have a million dollar smile. The docs explain things in plain language. They really do care, and it shows.

I went to them for an emergency broken tooth. Dr. Williamson recoiled at my situation. They said they could do an extraction in two weeks. They'd do nitrous and give me a photocopy of a valium script. I'm a nervous patient.

They call me day two days before the procedure and tell me I must come in the day before to sign the valium and nitrous release. I come in the morning to sign and they cant find the paper work.

I go there after work and sign the releases. I go to CVS next to their North Shoal Creek location it takes an hour for the pharmacist to to verify a 5mg valium. The dentist didn't' put the dosage on the script. I'm 6'2" at 220. 5mg doesn't do much but I'm still cool with it. FFD says to take it an hour before coming in and I did that.

15 minutes before my scheduled procedure they call my and say we're out of nitrous because of the pandemic. They could schedule me two weeks later at another location.

I called three other dentists in the North Shoal Creek, North West Hills, and Crestview and none we're out of nitrous.

Dr. Garcia was amazing! She was patient and put all my fears aside when I had to have cracked tooth extracted. I thought it would be a traumatic experience but I didn't even realize the tooth was out until she told me. Excellent job Dr. Garcia! I will definitely recommend Dr. Garcia and Forest Family Dentistry to everyone I know. All the staff are courteous and friendly as well.

Awesome staff! I like that they really make you feel like part of their 'family'. I have a 3 year old and 6 month old that had to join us and they all worked to help my boyfriend and I, while we had our check ups done. The equipment and staff are very gentle and very caring. Plus, you can watch Netflix while they work on your teeth. :)

Everyone was incredibly friendly and informative. The office is super cute & it’s a great location, if you hate traffic. Doctor was happy to answer any questions & the dude I spoke to about my treatment plan was cute. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely stick to them & come back.

Let me just say that over the years I've had loads of different experiences from different dental offices ranging from very poor to quite good. But I think that this may possibly have been one of the best if not overall the single best dental experience that I can remember.
For starters the new office itself is spacious, attractive, and state-of-the-art. Additionally, the staff were all very helpful, friendly, and competent. Dr. Bethell himself was exceedingly pleasant and thorough in explaining all treatment options. They were also very open and fair at working with me over payment options.
But for me, the most important factor in judging whether I'd recommend his services to others is whether or not the actual work he did on my teeth was up to snuff so to speak. And for this, my answer would be a resounding yes. First of all, for the amount of work he did on my teeth, the pain level that I experienced both during and after the double root canals and fillings was remarkably light. And after the problems I had had previously with these particular teeth with other dentists before Dr. Bethell, I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see a satisfactory outcome. Suffice it to say, he proved my apprehension unnecessary and did what I consider an excellent job both technically and aesthetically.
Overall I feel quite grateful to Dr. Bethell and staff on a job well done!

This is an amazing Dental office. Dr Bethell and his staff are phenomenal. I truly felt their passion for what they do and you can tell they love their patients. Dr. Bethell also uses the best dental technology available which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. This might be the first time I'm looking forward to coming back to a dental office.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with dentists, one as a child and one as an adult, so petrified, anxiety, and nerves doesn’t begin to cover it! I mean I don’t do dentists!!! As a result of not doing dentists, I needed several things done, a crown, cavity, cleaning, etc. Forest family dental, Dr.Helmick and dental hygeniest/asst. Judith were phenomenal. They were very personable, empathetic, attentive, took their time to explain all details, what they were doing and made me feel beyond comfortable, I would note that I’m am grateful for nitrous oxide as well. Dr.Helmick and Judith did an amazing job, they were professional and knowledgeable, which is important, however, I was particularly impressed with their ability to work with me while I was freakishly scared, basically an adult baby, (not my best behavior). From the front desk, through procedure to check out, it was amazing. Thank you to this team and for all you do, I am forever grateful and would recommend a million times over.

I would definitely recommend Forest family! I've been to the round rock location and Anderson Lane and both are great. Everyone has been super friendly and helpful at duringbduring each of my appointments. I've also never had issues with my insurance and this dentist office.
