Y'all, I didn't go in there with pearly whites. It had been 4yrs since I'd gone to the dentist. I'm also overweight, and haven't had a positive experience in the medical industry in a very long time, so the emotional toll a visit could take was something I was dreading.

Dr. Ryan & his assistant (who I am kicking myself for not remembering her name -- guys, she is so nice) never once made me feel unwanted, guilty, uncomfortable, ashamed, or pressured into anything. It was such a relief to go in there and have my concerns addressed in not just a professional manner, but a friendly and welcoming one.

I have a "snaggle tooth," and all Dr. Ryan asked was "Does it bother you?" I told him that it didn't, and that was that. No pushing for cosmetic surgery, or questioning my response.

No one balked or tried to force me to take the local anesthetic for my procedure (I have a severe phobia of needles). They trusted that I knew more about myself than they did.

SO REFRESHING. I love this place.

Caring, thorough, advocates for healthy gums, teeth, mouth. This practice is commendable. Comfortable lobby. I learn new info about oral health or care every time I have gone.

Dr. Ryan is my go to for all my teeth needs!!! Very friendly, funny, and highly knowledgeable. I've always had a fear / dislike of going to the dentist and Dr. Ryan has changed that entire experience for me. He is an honest Dentist and I truly trust his opinion - he never tries to up-charge or recommend an unnecessary procedure. Mena and Judith are also gems. Amazing staff! Will recommend to all my friends

I was having a dental emergency and they were open on the weekend. The dentist and staff were wonderful and assuring. I will definitely be changing over to their clinic for future visits.

Always quick and courteous. Cleanings are thorough and more intensive dental work is professional. What I like best is that they won’t steer you toward getting a bunch of cosmetic work done, which is a growing trend in Austin based on other practices I’ve been to.

Best dental care I've ever received! Service is phenomenal. Everyone from the front desk, hygienists, to the doctors are all incredibly nice. You can watch Netflix on the ceiling while you have people prodding the inside of your mouth. Would recommend 👍🏻

I came in for emergency assistance 8 days post oral surgery. This whole office of people are absolutely Fantastic! Everyone is warm and welcoming, they are knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me. I will most definitely be a returning patient.

I love Forest Family Dentistry! Dr. Amy is the bomb! I just moved to Austin recently and was looking for a dentist. I came across them via a few web searches and decided to try them out. Between the general aesthetic of the place, (which is really cool and definitely in line with my version of Austin), the quality of work done by the staff, and their awesome, friendly, relaxed attitudes, this is the perfect dentist for me. Did I mention their pricing is really fair too!? They offer online scheduling as well, which I like. Basically the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. They even gave me a t-shirt, since I've spent so much time hanging out with them recently! They've got my teeth back on track after many years of neglect, and they've got my business for as long as I'm still in Austin. Thanks guys!

I have had a wonderful experience at Forest Family Dentistry. Dr. Ryan has a great attention to detail and is very professional. I also have had multiple cleanings there and always been impressed by the professionalism and skill of both Mena and Judith. I would highly recommend this Dentist and overall practice to anyone in the market for a Dentist!

I'll start this off with the fact that I don't like going to the Dentist. I don't like it so much I haven't been in more years than you can imagine. Unfortunately the "if my teeth work and I'm not in pain then things must be OK" approach doesn't always work. Recently I broke a tooth and had to go in and get it taken care of. I checked review and Forest FD was highly rated so I went in and was happy to find that the good ratings were deserved. Critical good things for me were: 1. Good communication, scheduling and price were very clear. 2. Handled insurance stuff without me having to jump through hoops. 3. Appointments were on time and lasted for the planned duration. The staff worked with my schedule and was proactive about getting things moved to save me time. 4. Treatments were professional and generally as pain free as could be. 5. Didn't get a lecture or judgement from the Hygienist or the Dentist about my teeth. Technology and equipment was current, no paper forms or other foolishness. I'll be going to them for future dental care.
