EXCELLENT!!!!!!! That one word describes everything about my visit. I have been in a lot of dental offices over the years but never have I ever been to one so outstanding with the people who work there a pleasant surrounding if it’s possible I had an overall feeling Of HAPPY! That is not a feeling I have ever had at a dental office. So I look forward to keeping my dental hygiene up to date with their expertise.

When I called them to set up an appointment, I was on the phone for over 20 minutes with the receptionist who had to ask me to give her all of my information twice because she had accidentally removed it from the computer right after I gave it to her the first time. When I showed up at the office the next morning, I had to fill out all of the exact information I had given to them the day before. I sat in the waiting room for over 45 minutes, had to strain to hear everyone in the office because for some reason they whisper to everyone and to each other constantly. I was finally taken back to the dental chair where they proceeded to try to get x-rays of my teeth… (the device they use to do this was very painful to the roof of my mouth!) The third time they tried they actually got an x-ray they could use. About 15 minutes went by and someone else came in and tried to take a picture of my face for their “records“ and the flash didn’t work on the camera. So she had to take another picture of my face. About five minutes later she came back with the camera to take a picture of my smile for their “records“. After about an hour and 15 minutes from when I had arrived, the dentist finally came in and told me that my throbbing toothache was nothing major, and I just needed a deep cleaning treatment, which would cost me roughly $1200 out of pocket, as my insurance company would not pay for any of it. I decided to go to the grocery store and buy a $6.00 jar of virgin coconut oil and started brushing my teeth with it. 24 hours later, my tooth isn’t bothering me and I will continue the home remedy treatment.

Edited after contacting office as requested:
They clarified that their policy is that parents are never allowed back with minor children during procedures because they could interfere with the dentist's work.
Original review: We have been to 3 dentist (6 total visits) in the last 3 months, during the covid pandemic. All of them have allowed me to go back with my minor children.
We came to Franklin for a crown after a great experience with a root canal at Dr. Brights.
The hygienist initially told me that I would be allowed to go back after the x-rays but then changed her mind. My daughter got up and left when they tried to continue the exam, after the x-ray, without me.
They then told me that parents weren't allowed to go back with children for the preliminary exam or the crown.
We just forfeited the cost of the first visit ($105) and will find another dentist.
Edited to add: Great experience with Azalea Dental who does allow parents back with minors for all exams and procedures.

The hygienist I saw was very friendly, I wish I'd caught his name. After he was done I waited a very long time for the dentist to do a quick exam. I asked if they offer invisalign and they do not. I don't know if that's typical of dentists offices, but they couldn't refer me to anyone either. All in all it's a friendly place. I would recommend them to a friend.

Had a procedure two years ago. I specifically went here because they were “in network”. Received a bill for $450 after 2 years. Said insurance company would not pay, even though it had been approved. Also said they had tried to resolve this earlier, which is false. 2 years later, it’s too late to resolve the issue with the insurance company. Poor service, poor communication, unwilling to take any responsibility. I will never return to Franklin Dental.
