Aspen Dental is the only dentist office I eill ever be going to ever again. The receptionist is so sweet and the dentists assistants and the dentist himself was so helpful and gentle when they were looking at my broken tooth. If I could rate Aspen Dental ten stars I definitely would!

The people are really nice but the work they do is lacking. I've had two crowns, two fillings, and a cleaning done. The cleaning was really good. Both fillings don't feel right and one fell out. On my last visit I was supposed to get one crown put in and the filing that fell out redown. When I showed up for my appointment I had to wait 45 minutes before I was seen and when they put in the crown I told them I couldn't fully close my mouth and they didn't even try to fix it since they took so long to see me that it was past closing time. They didn't even fix the filing that fell out even though that was part of my appointment.

I’m new to the area, so I was hoping to find a regular dentist. My insurance pays for X-rays and 2 cleanings per year, so I went in for a routine cleaning. I arrived at 8:00 and was seen immediately. The X-ray technician was friendly, the whole X-ray process only took about 20 minutes, and was relatively painless. I was then told the hygenist would be right in. She arrived within next 5 minutes, and proceeded to tell me I had major bone loss below my gum line, and my current crowns needed restoration. She told me I would have to have a deep cleaning as opposed to my normal routine cleaning. When she asked if I had any questions, I told her I had been going to the dentist every 6 months for the past 5 years, and this is something I’ve never been told. She said that I would be sent home with an electric toothbrush. (Like that was going make me want to go forward with this line of treatment 🙄) She got extremely defensive when I told her I was only here for my routine cleaning, and told me the dentist would be in to discuss this further. Although I saw the dentist attending to other patients who came in after I did, I waited for almost an hour before anyone came back into the room. The dentist wbut was still adamant about the deep cleaning and restorations, and also told me my bite was off and I most likely had sleep apnea. 😳She said the receptionist would go over my treatment plan, and I could make an appointment to get started. So what began as a 45 minute routine dentist visit that was completely covered by my insurance, turned into a 2 hour wait with an out of pocket amount of $10,200. Obviously, I only had the X-rays done at this office, and I’ll be seeing another dentist for my routine cleaning next week.

People were nice but doctor refused to treat my tooth. They wanted to put a crown on but that is $1200.00, I don't have to money. I just want it pulled and she refuses. My insurance covers the extraction but not the crown...

I was drawn in with the free first appointment and X-Rays. Called made an appointment. Drove 40 miles away. I arrive for my appointment and am told that it was 30 mins before I arrived so they cancelled. After I had spoken to someone earlier that day confirming my appointment time. I went ahead and made another appointment for today 5/21/2020. Arrive and the receptionist tells me they tried calling me to verify I was going to be there & left a voicemail because nobody answered. We just went ahead and canceled your appointment! Y’all I DO Not have ANY missed calls. I asked her to tell me the number she called and it was correct.
I have been in terrible pain waiting for this dentist only to be met with rude and unprofessionalism. I DO NOT recommend this dentist to anyone!

From the time I set the appointment to the time I walked out the door, I truly believe that I have met the nicest people on Earth. They were everything I could ever dream of in terms of customer service and I'm a customer service manager.

The facility is very, very clean and bright. The staff was very meticulous about hygiene, which I appreciate since they were digging in my mouth.

I had to bring my infant son with me because of a childcare situation, and they were SO great about it. They never made me feel bad for having to lug him around for each task. In fact, each of the ladies in the office paused to entertain him at some point during our visit - when they weren't busy.

I had the pleasure of hearing the dentist himself talk to another patient, she was elderly and having a hard time understanding. He was so gentle and patient with her... he must have repeated his recommendations four times in four different ways. And when she started to get overwhelmed he paused for simple conversation for a moment before starting back in. I wanted to hug him.

I would recommend them to any and everyone. Hands down the best service I've had in all of OK. And they're much nicer than my dentist in KCMO, also.

UPDATE: I stand by what I said about the dentist; they hygienist, however? She's HORRID. Nasty attitude, no care for pain and absolutely no compassion. I had my first cavity at 32, and it was a surface cavity, so I know I have good oral hygiene... But she treated me like I was neglectful and a horrible person because I somehow had gingivitis. She literally sneered at me when I told her that I wasn't sure how it happened, and just got nastier. I will never go back for a cleaning to this office. I don't care HOW good the office staff or dentist are. I hated, passionately, how she treated me. I can only imagine how she'd treat someone with more dental problems . My gums hurt for three days after my cleaning and I was freaking out about gingivitis. I saw another dentist that told me she was dead wrong. What a waste of $180!!!

It seemed like the dentist and staff were nice and accommodating during the visit, however they did not submit the appropriate paperwork to the insurance so our entire claim was denied. When I called and asked why it was not submitted, I was told it was never written because they only filled out the paperwork if the claim was denied. We are now going through the process of appealing the claim and trying to get the paperwork done. If you want to save yourself trouble with inaurance, go somewhere that fills out the paperwork BEFORE you get denied!

I had an appointment scheduled, filling and a cleaning. After arriving, I was told that the hygienist wasn't there, no call or anything about it. I was told I'd have to reschedule with no apology offered. I got my cavity filled however. Two weeks later, I still cannot open my jaw, I've been in terrible pain. My ear hurts, my jaw hurts, and my mouth is too stiff to open my jaw all of the way. I was assuming it wasn't soreness from the numbing shots but my pain is going on too long. I'll be ending my relationship with aspen and seeking another opinion. I've never had pain from filling a cavity, or any other dental procedure to this extent. Every day has been a struggle and Tylenol isn't cutting it anymore. I was sent home with no aftercare instructions or any expectations of symptoms besides being numb for an hour after my appointment. I will update my status after receiving a second opinion.

I am extremely happy with my experience at this office... Friendly and straightforward staff, I was in and out for a chipped front tooth in less than an hour.
