All is cool until you get the bill. Rubs fluoride on your teeth, bam $45. They do not check in with your insurance before treatment to see if you are covered. I am not talking about costly treatments, imagine you go in for cleaning and then get a bill of $200.
I hope that is not normal thing in America.

I’m in Lawton for 6 month on a government contract with Fort Sill and know nothing about this town. My tooth’s is cracked and I began having serious pain (I now know due to infection) so I called my insurance company and Aspen was the first on the list they sent me, probably because it’s alphabetical. Staff was really friendly but my problem did not get solved. I knew I needed a root canal and after they tried to sell me on a exhaustive treatment plan to ensure future visits (over charging my insurance ridiculously), I knew I wouldn’t be back. The referral they gave me (which I had to call), can’t see me for another month; what am I disposed to do, have a swollen mouth, continue not to sleep, and deal with this pain until then? They could have at least called and got me in on a emergency basis, thats why I went in to begin with bc this is a emergency. So I called them back to get another referral and all they could offer me was a hour and a half away in Oklahoma City. I feel like they grossly overcharged my insurance and ultimately did nothing to help me therefore I will not be back. Further, I had to call them back the next day and ask to call me in antibiotics bc my mouth is so jacked up it’s beginning to effect my work; that and lack of sleep due to pain. They didn’t even diagnose the infection upon evaluation, in my opinion because their focus was on getting me back for more visits. The whole right side of my face is swollen and impossible to miss, not to mention my constant complaints of pain. Pretty upset with the experience and a huge waste of time. Lastly I take it personally when people try to play me or take advantage of me. Trying to charge my insurance 132$ for a oral B electric tooth brush is robbery. I will not support a business that’s does not honestly represent the best interest of its patients. I could continue listing the absurd treatment plan charges but alas I digress. I now revert to my initial instinct that family owned small town dentistry is way more proficient and satisfactory, not to mention honest and trustworthy, than the corporate entities.

Visited A span Dental on Feb 28th. Had a very positive experience. The receptionist.greeted me with a smile when I walked in and helped me.with all the.paperwork as a new patient. Dr Christian was very caring and professional. Dee and Rachel ,his Dental assistants were awesome. I'm a big baby at the Dentist. and they put me.at ease. Highly recommend A span Dental for.any future patients.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever received, and I was just trying to schedule a cleaning apt. The computer of the girl that was helping me was down and she had the great idea to go into the office manager's office to schedule my apt, well it seemed that it was a huge hustle for her office manager to do that. She was distant and just seemed to be bother to have to do any work. She also kept looking at her cell phone like that was more important than greeting a paying patient and taking care of her apt.

This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. I had two dental insurance plans when I went and Aspen assured me I would not have to pay a dime. Sure enough, I get charged after each visit AND got another bill in the mail for more money.

UPDATE: After talking to the Patient Satisfaction team - they didn't help at all. They claimed they would reach out to my dental insurance companies and resolve the issue, which after a month they didn't and I got a final notice in the mail for payment. SO I called the insurance companies and they have tried to get information from this branch of Aspen Dental about my claim, which they never responded about. All it took was a simple 5 minute phone call, which the nice lady at Delta Dental of Tennessee said the office should have taken care of.

I showed up for my appointment made a week and a half in advance to be told they double booked and canceled my appointment. I confirmed the appointment through text and it said "Thank you for confirming your appointment!" It's not easy to schedule appointments like this in my line of work.

My overall experience was outstanding from the receptionist, hygienists to the Dr., even the lady that helps you come up with a plan to make payments was very professional!!! Believe it or not I found out about them through another dentist office because they didn’t have an opening immediately so they referred me to them and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my continue care with Aspen!!!

Corporate phone scheduler made my first appt for Saturday 1:00 - Office is not open on weekends - They also confirmed they accept Carington 500 Dental Discount Plan. This office dosen't because this dentist chooses not to. X-ray technician doesn't know basic tricks to help gaggers through procedure so couldn't get full x-rays and talked extensively with front desk person about concerts they attended while she was doing procedures instead of focusing on patient's needs. I'm not confident od dentist's final evaluation of my needs because he didn't address all my concerns.
