one of the best dental experiences i have had, ask for sierra & dr. patel !

At first the service was excellent. Very friendly and wanting to help, then I met the dentist. She was an early to mid 20's and nice. I went through the normal x rays and so on. When I went back the the examination table she started telling me she could not pull my 2 teeth. I came in to have 1 tooth pulled.
What all this turned out to be was a feeder clinic for Austin Oral.
After all this and still in pain and refusal to help they where going to send me my xrays. I made an appointment with another clinic across the street 2go and have the same thing done. They told me they would send them directly via email. After an hour had gone by I called up and asked if they were going to send them. I was told that she was apologetic and she would send them again right away. My wife and I got in the car on our way to the other appointment and had to stop there and have them do it in front of us. At the other Clinic they were able to get those teeth pulled with no problems and I was out of pain at that point. Had modern just went ahead and sent me my x-rays I would have no problem with them and their policy of sending anything more than a cleaning or braces to their Austin oral and maxi facial. I would suggest not going Modern Dentistry in Pflugerville unless your teeth need a Polish. This is the equivalent of detail shop in comparison to a full mechanic shop.

I have been a patient at this office for years and I know the team very well. They are great people and I've never had any problems. Simply put, good dentist, good people, affordable. Im not looking to make friends I just need them to clean my teeth.

So All I’m say is double triple check your extraction dates to ensure you don’t waste pto requests days or time assuming the surgeon won’t be there or will as told

I went for a crown on a chipped tooth and my experience was great! Amber&Brenda, Maykala, and Dr. Patel did an excellent job and the rest of the staff were very friendly/professional and i will be looking forward to coming back here again. Definitely my go-to dentist office.

Sooo amazing! God sent me to Pflugerville Modern Dentistry. It was first time here. I had all my wisdom teeth pull because I was in so much pain. The staff was amazing from the receptions to Dr. The best experience I've ever had due to my situation, I was back to normal sooner than I was told. Thank you Pflugerville Modern Dentistry for giving me my pain free life back.

I love my dentist here, Dr. Durst. First off they were the only place taking patients during the holidays, i had an emergency and needed to come in and get a script for antibiotics. They gave me a referral and I followed up with Martin Nelson Endodontics and had Dr. McNary which was also a very amazing and gentle professional. I had to wait until Pfluggerville reopened due to covid and am currently working on my smile to get that “Hollywood” look! DR. Durst is gentle, informative and reasonable. I’m looking forward to recommending this place to everyone I know, not to mention posting my new smile!

It was my first time going to this Dentist Office with Dr.Patel for a routine cleaning, I arrived 30 min earlier to fill out any paperwork and what I just needed was to sign. I was sitting there for 35 min until they called me in. The first thing they did was x-rays, which they explained to me it would be covered by my insurance, ended up being a lie they used a 2D x-ray which my insurance wont cover those. Once Dr. Patel did my oral exam she starting telling me I needed extractions, filling and a deep cleaning. After all that, one of the staff members came into the room and started explaining to me how much I will be paying upfront to do all these procedures. Just for the extractions was gonna be $1100 for 3 molars and anesthesia (put me to sleep) another $300, and for the deep cleaning another $263 for a quadrant (1/4) of my mouth. I decided to go to another location for a second opinion and GUESS WHAT!! My new dentist told me I didn't need any fillings and the amount I have to pay out pocket will be $242 for extractions and my insurance was covering pretty much everything else. Overall they are over priced and they add on procedures you don't need. If you feel you will be paying to much, go for a second opinion!

I went there this past week after not being to the dentist in 6 years. The staff was warm and inviting. One of the DA’s, her name is Jacqueline, I had accidentally bitten her. not hard but enough to notice. she stayed nice and calm about the situation. They are very friendly.

The dentist and the team here are wonderful. They are sensitive to patient needs, and willing to work with you to make payments for the care you need. My husband and I had been to several other dentists and no one was willing to work with us for the care we needed. Pflugerville Modern Dentistry is a wonderful place located right in Pflugerville so you don't have to drive to Austin or Round Rock. Dr. Post and his team are wonderful! The office is comfortable and there is always a smile for you when you walk in.
